We were in Eagleville for a family wedding and we were so happy we had decided to stay at this property. The pictures do not do it justice. Very spacious, clean and updated. High quality linens/towels and comfortable beds. Very easy checkin process and quick communication with the host. The property is beautiful and within walking distance to charming downtown Eagleville. As several others have mentioned, the Italian and Mexican restaurants are very good and we also enjoyed the local coffee shop and grocery store. Depending on traffic, about a 45 minute drive to Nashville, but definitely an easy day trip. Would definitely recommend this property and hope we are able to come back to Eagleville in the near future.
The cabin was beautiful. It is within walking distance to downtown and the fun little shops. We would recommend this spot to anyone, and will come back if we are ever in the area.

Found this in a central spot for wedding activities we had that weekend. Was centrally located and in a cute little town. We enjoyed the walk to local shopping/thrifting and amazing coffee bar!
Wow! We really enjoyed the stay. I have no complaints at all. Exceptional!!! Oh & the Mexican & Sorrelle restaurants were awesome, not to mention the Eagleville Grocery was a blast to explore. We will be back next year if the Good Lord is willing.
This place is even better than the pictures show! Everything was immaculate and it was obvious that this place is loved. Gorgeous views. I loved the side deck that was partially covered so I was even able to do my work out there. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back again!
Peaceful little cabin within walking distance of downtown Eagleville. It’s perched on its own little grassy knoll, which provides plenty of privacy, yet you can see right down Main St from the back deck or the chairs on the front porch. The interior has been tastefully updated and the accommodations were very comfortable. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. We’d definitely recommend this ‘cheerful cozy retreat’.
Stayed for the month of January 2024 to be close to family in Franklin. This sanctuary had everything you need. Just up the street (walkable 1/4 mile) are several nice restaurants and at least 3 boutiques for shopping. Loved the Mexican La Fiestas and the Italian for pizza. A small full grocery store (with incredible meat selections) is just a mile away and convenient for gas and essentials. Dollar General minutes away. We missed the live Singer Songwriter evening in Eaglesville. But - Don't miss the bbq bologna. Our host Pam was a dear to give us little extras when the weather was less than expected. The cabin was spotless and newly renovated - lovely. Second bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a loft upstairs. Everything you need for a cozy stay! We hope to return.
We were 5 adult siblings in town for our niece's wedding in Nashville and wanting to stay near our sister's home in Eagleville. The location was perfect for our needs. We did have occasion to need assistance twice -- TV & light not working when we arrived, and no blender in kitchen. Pam was very responsive and resolved these issues promptly. The location is quiet and backs up to a wooded area giving a secluded feeling although we were within walking distance to the downtown restaurants: Las Fiestas, Grindstone Cowboy, and Sorelles, all of which were good. We saw lots of songbirds and hawks and had a couple of visiting deer that showed up a few times. The deck is very nice for sitting outside to eat and enjoy the solitude. Beds were very comfortable.
This cabin is lovely and clean, and the location is quiet though a bit far from everything. However, we felt a little deceived by the fact that the description does not mention that the 3rd bedroom is in a loft area, accessible only by a steep stairway with NO railing. It rendered this bedroom useless for us! Our adult daughter was supposed to be in the 3rd bedroom w/twin bed but couldn't climb the stairs due to a recent ankle injury. The other option was to put my older sister up there, but she couldn't climb due to knee problems. The final step up was especially deep and precarious. The room was also infested with ladybugs. As a result, our daughter slept on the couch throughout our stay. Not ideal by any means. While the house is comfortable overall, this was a huge disappointment and I feel as if we didn't get the accommodations for which we paid. I hope the owner fixes the description so guests aren't surprised by the layout.
Pros: beds are clean and comfy. Attic/3rd room is cute - we didn't use it though. Very hard to figure out how to lock front door; had to Google it. The essentials were super limited (e.g., 1 roll PT, 2 rolls TP, 6 DW pods, 1 trash bag, no dishsoap or new sponges, etc); Water pressure light (but plenty of hot water) and the master bedroom shower (stall) very small. Very rustic. Not all windows open. Bedroom 2 blinds had bare spots. Sofa was clean and cozy. We couldn't use the back deck due to a huge open space all along the lower part that one of our dogs was very curious about and we were concerned would jump/fall through and it's decent drop. Loads of grassy yard - but because it wasn't fenced it, we had to keep our dogs on a leash or long-line. Some the plug ins didn't seem to work or we couldn't work them. Also very dim lighting/dark in cabin, but we didn't mind.
VERY remote location. Next closest town is Murphysboro (sp?) - the town "square" is great and we found Pucketts restaurant to be a real delight and that specific area to be quite charming. The town of Eaglesville is adorable but VERY small and limited (closed on Sundays). We found the coffee shop to be a total local gem. The coffee was great, and we enjoyed their simple country fare. The Mexican restaurant was also pretty good. We weren't impressed with the Italian place. Not a whole lot else and don't even try to get an Uber - we had to drive into Nashville/everywhere.
