Ozarks Home Away from Home

The Murrell Family Farm guest house is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast. Located in the rolling hills of the Ozarks in southwest Missouri it's next to the Mark Twain National Forest on a F.S. Scenic Byway and is within minutes of the Ridge Runner and Ozark Trail heads. The beautiful North Fork River is in close proximity and offers many recreation opportunities including swimming, canoeing, rafting, along crystal clear springs and with historic grist mills nearby.
The space
The guest house is the original home of the Murrell family, on the farm that was established in 1929. It is full of history and memorabilia of the family and the Ozarks.

The home is complete with kitchen, dining and living space, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, utility room and game room which is also used for storing outdoor cushions etc.

Great place to unplug!

The property is in a remote spot with beautiful scenery. We were only there for one night, so we didn't have a chance to explore. House was very clean, and stocked with everything you'd need to cook. There is a game room with a pool table and plenty of games to keep everyone entertained without WiFi. Highly recommend it!

Lovely Time

I am getting ready to take a big exam for work and needed a night away from the house and all my schoolwork to reboot and rest to be ready for the big test day. Being able to hang out at the house and relax and be unplugged was perfect. It’s a sweet little house. Very welcoming with beautiful surroundings. We will definitely hook again in the future!

There was four of us adults that were suppose to come with me but i was the only that went.

I loved it, it was very peaceful my 2 dogs loved the yard room. Im from Illinois and live in the country but we have a lot of traffic this place felt like i was the only one out there but it was nice i would rent it again.
