We had a great stay. The space was clean and cozy, the kitchen had just about everything we needed, and we appreciated the fun variety of books and games. The surrounding woods and private lil trail were so beautiful! Despite it being Summer, the cabin stayed cool the entire visit. We would definitely come back

Jillian and Michael were phenomenal hosts and I highly recommend this property!
We loved our stay in this a-frame cabin. The property was extremely clean and they provided us with everything we needed. They had a book with lots of details and ideas for things to do. My favorite part was the wood stove, it warmed the place up wonderfully. The place was very cozy for a winter getaway, we would definitely come back.

My fiancé and I stayed here and June and it was a gray trip! This is an amazing place for a getaway. We spent our nights around the campfire and that was the best part! It was beautiful and quiet, and the cabin was exceptional. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it if you need time to relax
My friends and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Woodmoor. The cottage, bunkhouse, and property were all beautiful and comfortable. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The kitchen had all the essentials and counter space for us to cook up a feast.
Best of all, the property is quiet and secluded - I don’t think we noticed a single car drive down the road all weekend.
Everything went smoothly and Jillian & Michael were helpful and responsive. We would absolutely come and stay here again!

Thanks so much for your kind words Evan, and thank you for taking such great care of our place! We’re so happy you had a great time with your group, and please come back anytime!
This is a beautiful property if you want to get away from it all, but have people who aren’t completely sold on camping, or just want creature comforts. All the wood inside the A Frame cabin is beautiful, with intricate details that really makes it feel rustic. The kitchen was nice to be able to use for cooking, and the hosts were very communicative and friendly. Almost everything was thought of and prepared for when we got there. I went with a larger group, and some of them stayed in the bunkhouse, which was very worthwhile and cozy as well. Everything was so lovingly crafted and cozy. Would definitely go back again.

Hi Joseph,
Thank you for your feedback. We greatly apologize that the woodburning stove was not yet ready for you. The unforeseen delay in our annual chimney inspection/cleaning is very frustrating, and we hope to have the issue remediated before the end of the year. We understand the essence of a cozy cabin is a cozy fire.
Also we apologize for any misunderstanding about the number of bedrooms on our property. The 2nd bedroom of our property is within the Bunkhouse, just steps away from the A-Frame, and can be rented in addition to the A-Frame for an additional $50.00/night. Although this information is reflected in our listing, we will be sure to review and modify the listing and communication to ensure that this information is clearly communicated to future guests.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we'd love to see you again!
About the host

We fell in love with all things outdoors after our first cabin trip together. 10 years, 3 states, 2 kids, and many more cabin trips later, we wanted a cabin of our own. Our search led us to this beautiful property. We love our time here, and now we want to share it with you!
Why they chose this property
We searched several years for a vacation property for ourselves. We always wanted a classic log-style cabin, but also love the A-frame design. What luck that this property came available, and we were even luckier that it was in such pristine condition. We fell in love with the property immediately.
What makes this property unique
This property is so unique in that it is both an A-Frame AND a Log Cabin. Not to mention the beautiful 10 acres it sits on, AND the beautifully crafted Bunkhouse just steps from the A-Frame. There is incredible craftsmanship throughout the entire property including: the handcrafted staircase in the A-frame that replaced an existing spiral staircase, the handcrafted bunks in the bunkhouse, the handcrafted cabinetry, tables and ledges throughout, and more.
