Huge home, great for large family or group. Sleeps 16 Can have small gatherings/events. 6 bed/ 3 bath (9 beds+3 foldouts). Large enclosed private shaded backyard & patio is great for bbq and afternoon entertaining. French doors lead from the lounge to the backyard, which is a great flowing open layout. Spacious open dining and living areas with 3 fireplaces. Dining room with piano, great for a large family dinner and musical entertainment. Kids love to climb the big oak tree in the backyard. Tiny home/play house with its own private yard. Separate laundry room. TVs with Netflix. Good Wifi. This is a great place for a small gathering- We have had youth groups in sleeping bags and garden tents, we have had groups meeting for the day with organizers sleeping over, and great family reunions. Message me if you want to do a small gathering (no loud parties). Pet friendly. Nice enclosed backyard. Pets stay free.NOTE this is an older home, it is large and great for groups, but it is not luxurious. The dishwasher does not work. Some cabinet doors/locks/ handles are not great. Stove is old. Plumbing just upgraded. If you are looking for a big family or group, you can’t beat it.
Discrete handicap features throughout. This is a one-level home with flat floors easy to get around. Wheelchair ramp & large open disabled shower. We can arrange care if needed. This is the only Handicap rental in the area.

Lots of street parking, can park 4-5 cars in drive.

LOCATION
High-end residential neighborhood, 1 block walk to shops, restaurants & Starbucks.
Close to freeway, easy to get there, close to Downtown LA & Rose Bowl Pasadena
1 exit to highway into National Forest and to Ski resorts. For small event price put number of people total those staying overnight plus party guests.

Great location, House Maintenance can be improved

The odor mentioned in the other reviews was definitely noticeable from the minute we stepped in. We stayed outside most of the time since we were using the grill to BBQ. Very spacious house but there were things missing/not working. (lightbulbs, tv remote, one of the stove knobs in the kitchen.) This place definitely gets the job done though!

Awesome Neighborhood, convenient and spacious

Perfect spot to visit my brother & wife who flew in from Spain to LA and also have friends and family visit. Trader Joe’s a short walk away! Great neighborhood and convenient to so much. Gail was responsive and helpful. It was a great stay, especially with handicapped access and features. Both my folks use walkers and it suited us well. Yard was super nice. We would stay again if an LA trip calls again.

Very beautiful & spacious

This property was perfect for my event. It was very beautiful and spacious. We did find two old buzzballz, which could have been easily missed during cleaning. Not an issue we just threw them away. It was a little cold but there so many blankets provided along with portable heaters and a few fireplaces that helped. Overall, great location. Would book again.

Why they chose this property

A great property for large families and friends, sleeps up to 16. The back yard is perfect for family gatherings and your pets are welcome. We do accept weddings, family gatherings and small events, let me know if you are interested, there is an extra charge depending on how many guests (no ticketed rave-type parties and no loud noise after10pm, per neighborhood rules). It was once used as an elderly home so it is equiped for disabled guests, with wheelchair ramp, large shower, grab bars, smooth faux hardwood floors and have caregivers upon request. The house is older and not perfect; dishwasher not working, cabinet doors/latches old, old stove. It is big, clean and nicely done but not pristine quality. Good internet, close to downtown, JPL, Pasadena, RoseBowl. Discount for long term stay.
