Moosehead Lake is within 15 minutes of this home! Outdoor equipment rentals are available in town as well as many local guide services who can help make your trip more memorable. This area offers countless outdoor opportunities such as fishing and hiking. However, if you would rather just enjoy a hot cup of coffee while you relax and watch the snow fall, then this place is still for you! Shirley has a very good wildlife population, so make sure to stay on the lookout for both deer and moose!
