A heat lamp will warm you up on a cool night! The Treehouse is on the back lawn, built up on 4 large trees. There is power, when plugged in to an extension cord, so kids can sleep, play and also have a great adventure, while staying here. A zip line, for younger kids ( up to 125 pounds) runs across the back of the property. Enjoy nights around the fire, roasting marshmallows and making memories in a large fire pit area. This place is very cool! It's nestled away, so it feels private, but still close to everything. It is right off of the main street and just a short walk away from the grocery store and hot springs. The property itself was very clean and historic, yet updated. It was a wonderful place to stay.
Was a great clean property was very happy with the entire stay.

The place had everything I needed. It was very clean inside, but the outside was a little rough. Beware, this place is in town, with neighbors. I believe the neighbor to the south is unhappy this place is a VRBO. In protest, they ran a very loud construction site type gas generator all day and all night. I alerted the host, but that didn’t stop the generator… I laid awake in bed until 3am or so when the generator began to sputter and finally quit, apparently out of gas. Negative 10 stars for peace and quiet. I would not stay here again.
This was a great fun little get away for my family. We stayed 2 nights and the kids enjoyed the yard and fun sleeping separate and together in the bunk house. I recommend and would stay here again.
This place is amazing for a family retreat. The hosts have thought of everything to make you comfortable. Fun hotsprings nearby and nice to be away from the big city.
It was a lovely stay. We enjoyed learning the history of the cabin and all the relics from the past as decorations. My dogs absolutely LOVED playing in the grass yard. It was conveniently located near the local hot springs. We will be back. Thank you hosts!
We came for my daughter's mountain bike race and loved our weekend stay! Close to beautiful hot springs. My kids loved the fire pit, tree house, and zip line. Such a fun place!
This place was great to stay. The kids loved making s'mores and playing in the yard. They had fun yard games to play and it was such a fun weekend. Definitely would stay here again
Loved the zip line and tree house for my eight year old. The two separate bunkhouses were fun, and there was a lot of space. I loved that it was off the road, tucked back. It felt very private and just like the hideaway we were wanting.
Our family enjoyed our stay greatly. We stayed 2 nights. The host kept us informed, and had everything ready for us.
Thank you for helping us have a positive, memorable time!
The check-in process was extremely easy, and the owners communicated instructions clearly. The drive onto the property was beautiful. The grass areas and orchard were perfect for the lawn games available. We enjoyed the treehouse and zipline with the kiddos. The cabin was so cute inside, and the bunkhouse was great with the kitchenette, which was stocked with plenty of cookware. The outhouse was detached but worked just fine for us. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved the cabin and the bunk house. My kids especially loved the zip line and spent many hours playing on it. A couple of my kids enjoyed sleeping in the tree house. The hide away is a great place to get away and relax by the fire and spend time with family.
We found this property absolutely perfect for a place to make memories with the entire family, a group of friends and/or a beautiful and peaceful place of retreat. They've done such a wonderful job remodeling and adding all the comfort elements, while keeping the historical charm, beauty & vibe!
Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the hideaway. Its a unique property with plenty of charm and even though its on main Street, it felt like you where away from the city.
The property owner was very friendly and communicated well throughout the booking and stay. If you're looking for a place in the Monroe / Richfield area, I would definitely recommend this place. We will definitely be looking to stay here again next time we are in the area.

James,
Thanks so much for your wonderful review! You were a fabulous guest and left our place in immaculate condition, thank you for that! We would love to host you again! Again, THANK YOU!!
We found The Hideaway and it was the perfect setup and location for our families little getaway. Location was central for all the activities we had planned to hit on our stay. The cabin and bunkhouse were perfect and gave us plenty of space to spread out.
Jacee was great with communication and ensures we had everything we needed for our stay.
We will certainly use this for the next time we head to the area.

Everything I could have imagined in a cabin getaway! All our needs were anticipated and there were so many fun features. There were indoor and outdoor games and activities. From the tree house and swings, exploring the "woods", relaxing in the orchard, or walking to the market for a treat it was perfect!
We loved our stay at The Hideaway! The property was bigger than I even pictured. It was clean and stocked with everything I could have needed. We entertained extened family all week and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and play. My kids did not want to leave. The zipline was their favorite. We can't wait to return!
This place was so quiet and nice, it was on the edge of town and it was it's own place! It had 3 different little buildings. Had it's own little orchard and the Firepit was very fun. We really lucked out with the weather and got clear nights and even got to see some shooting stars! The Owners we're very nice and helped with any questions we had. We would come back. Thanks for the great vacation!
We loved this cozy stay right in the middle of small town, Monroe. It’s next door to the local grocery store and everyone is so nice! We,adults, stayed in the cabin while our teenagers stayed in the bunk house. The only thing is that they don’t have a traditional stove if you like to cook. They provide a plug in stove top and such.
Loved the little cabins. Great yard space. Only wished i new about pet policy that you can not bring your pet inside. I just think if you pay extra for pets they should be able to come in. It all worked out that i did not bring my dog. But over all i would totally stay here again loved the property and had a great time.
The property was well taken care of and the amenities made our stay comfortable. We loved the privacy of the hideaway. The only thing we wished was easier was using the shower the pressure is strong and the heat is really sensitive. It would be nice to have a shower head that could hang so we dont have to hold whole trying to get clean. Other then that everything was well stocked and we where happy with our stay. Ide suggest this place of you have kids with you since there are games and a tree house for them to play while you relax. 😉 I really loved the decor and the vibe here will definitely book again someday when I head down to Monroe.
