Cheerful 2-BDRM/2.5 Bathroom Home Near DWTN & UF
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located house. The Peach House offers our guests a fully remodeled, clean, calm, and inviting atmosphere to take in all that Gainesville--the hometown of Tom Petty--has to offer. The 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, 1000 square foot historic home has an ideal location and a modern luxury interior feel with a covered front porch, a fully fenced-in backyard, a concrete patio, and one dedicated parking space.
THE SPACE: Our house is located just a 10 minute walk to downtown amenities, such as music, restaurants, bars, and shops. The Peach House is also just one block away from the 6th Street Rail Trail bike path and about a mile from Tom Petty's childhood home and Tom Petty Park. On Mondays, enjoy a 5 minute walk to the local farmers market. The University of Florida is also only a 5 minute drive.
SHOES: upon entry, please remove all shoes.
FIREPLACE: The fireplace does not work. Please do not light anything in the fireplace, as it will cause a fire hazard.
KITCHEN: The space comes with a full-size kitchen that is fully equipped. It has a dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, stove, oven, refrigerator, dish rack, built-in filtered water, and freezer. You will have the basic kitchen necessities to prepare your meals, including olive oil, salt, pepper, pans, cookie sheets, can opener, wine opener, cutting board, cooking utensils, measuring cups, measuring spoons, potholders, Sweetwater Organic Coffee (roasted in Gainesville), and tea.
PERSONAL WORKSPACE: If you need to work remote, there is a desk in the queen size bedroom for your use. The house is also equipped with high-speed internet.
LAUNDRY: There is a washer, dryer, and laundry detergent available for guest use.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: There is one queen bed and one king bed, each of which has a Casper mattress.
TOILETRIES: shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers are provided, however please bring any of your own personal toiletry items, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, or lotion. There are some toilet paper rolls provided, however, if additional ones are needed you will need to supply your own. There is an iron and ironing board in bedroom closet.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: 2 yoga mats and 4 robes (2 large and 2 small robes, which must be left at the place or else a fee of $250 will be charged per robe.
PARKING: There is one dedicated parking space in the driveway. Please note that it is small. Please be careful when using it, as it is very close to the house. There is additional free, on-street parking available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests will access house by unique four-digit deadbolt code that will be provided 72 hours before check-in. Both the front and back doors can be accessed with this code. The house and property will be for the exclusive use of our guest(s). NO unauthorized guests are allowed at the house or on the premises, even if they are not “over-night” guests.
GUEST SAFETY: There is one exterior camera located on the front porch and one exterior camera located on the back porch. The cameras are for guest safety and the home.
