Thoughtful to have bug swatters, dart boards, honor system drinks/snacks, sunscreen/bug spray. Couches/chairs/hammocks decks were great and Frisbee golf hole/discs!
Overall great property only semi complaint which is more needy than anything is the tent will get a bit stuffy and hot when the fans die.

Thanks for your stay! Yes anytime before May 1st the humidity/heat isn't bad. We have 2 battery fans and a bigger plug in fan in the tent.
I do recommend the small upgrade to our two container rooms with air conditioning for anyone that wants to stay in the summer months as the AC is definitely worth the few $ extra.
Thanks again and glad you enjoyed this side of St John!
We found this to be very laid back, friendly and accommodating. It had all we needed to live simply, cook our own meals, and have quick access to the less populated beaches. It’s like a well-run hostel with a small number of units so that it never felt crowded. Loved our stay.
It’s EXACTLY as advertised - a tucked away campsite within minutes from a great beach, perfectly refurbed containers with great AC, common kitchen with all the utensils and amenities, great way to meet other campers (met some wonderful people!), hosts were very responsive to all kinds of questions and requests. You get the best of being outdoorsy with just the right creature comforts. Definitely need a car if you want to explore. We were a group of 6 full sized teens/adults and we fit just right into the two containers we slept in. A flock of bananaquit flutter about the common area and a baby deer grazed on site. Bright brilliant stars at night. It was just a super way to unplug.
Great island camping experience! Loved the gathering area to hang out at while we cooked our breakfast and dinners and loved our hikes to Salt Pond. The fans kept us cool during the nights and we even had some deer visit us while we we eating a few times. Great place if you like to camp!
I loved my stay at the Lameshur Cottage and Campsite! The host was very kind and messaged me back quickly if I needed help. My favorite part was the outdoor kitchen and shower. I even seen deer on the property ! I will definitely be back.
Clean, Neat and Organized. Parking was great!I would highly recommend this facility. Would definitely stay again. Bring your own groceries and having a car is a must. Very close to the Ram Head walking trail, blue pebble beach and salt pond for snorkeling.
We loved this place. Quiet, away from crowds and tourists. Hosts were friendly. If you are expecting luxurious accomodations, this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy simple, rustic camping you will love this place! Yurt had real beds so no need to cart all your camping gear to St John's.
We had fun and felt very comfortable. It was well lite up at night. We were happy to be able to borrow a cooler.

The yurt was a perfect excursion from st Thomas for our family. Billy will help you with anything you need. Salt pond beach and ram head trail right near by. Adding to our annual trip
We had so much fun staying in the yurt! Amazing community spaces—so clean and tidy—and personable hosts and other guests. They have thought of everything, great personal touches. Definitely recommend for you or families.

If you want a unique and wonderful experience, stay here!
Bill was great with communication and always had helpful information. The stars at night can’t be beat, and it was a hidden gem away from the crowds, but still near hiking trails and beaches! Great spot to see the south side of the island!
My friends and I had a great time, being away from everything and close to some amazing quiet beaches on Saint John was amazing. The basic needs were met and helped us enjoy our island hopping trip from Saint Croix
Perfect spot for our little get away to St. John. Just needed one night. Pleasantly surprised with the amenities. Everything we needed and more. Great hosts, always answered my questions. They were very accommodating when I need to use another tent. I would and hope to stay there again.
The outdoor shower was our favorite part of the site! Bill and Emily have thought of everything. Between the cooking supplies, beach chairs, comfy furniture, and fresh water, our stay was lovely. They even have bug spray and citronella candles because of the pesky no-see-ums. Thanks so much!

Billy (property owner) cares about your experience. Emily (co-property owner) did her thing on the small touches.
Our family of five enjoyed our stay very much. We walked to the beach and did the Ram head trail. The owners have beach chairs, snorkeling items and floats. This location is in the more remote part of the island which we wanted to get away from noise and hussle. The owners are very nice! The tents and yurt have battery fans to keep cool while sleeping. The kitchen hangout area was our favorite with darts and swinging game.
The yurt had plenty of room for sleeping and the beds were comfortable. What made it great was that the hosts thought of everything! Fans, lights, common condiments in the fridge, filters for the coffee pots, drinking water, soap/shampoo, snorkel gear, beach towels and chairs, a great commns area to relax and visit, even a vacuum to clean out your rental car. They obviously cared about making sure we had a great time and didn’t stress over details. If you enjoy camping, their place was great!
Inexpensive spot tucked into the mountains surrounded by nature with views of forested hills. Has that traveler-friendly backpacking hostel vibe! Loved showering with the little birds and plumeria blossoms all around. Shared amenities provide everything you need from kitchen equipment to fridge and freezer space to hammocks and even snorkle gear. Friendly camp cats. Walking distance to Salt Pond beach and Ramshead hiking trail.Only wish I'd selected the container as the Yurt does not have ventilation and was unfortunately VERY hot first week of May.Note that you're gonna need a car to get out here and if you want to leave to go to any restaurants. Bring groceries with you from Cruz Bay!
