Everything was as written we enjoyed our stay here. It was clean had all the adequate dishes and pans to cook with was nice cause most of our meals were eaten at my son‘s cottage so we did very low cooking there. Thank you for having us.

Great little cottage! Very clean and stocked with shampoo, tp, soap, garbage bags etc. We used it for overflow for a family reunion weekend and it was perfect!

darling cozy cottage that is thoughtfully stocked, very comfortable & peaceful. things we loved & appreciated… washer/dryer (so good), full size gas range/oven w griddle (chefs kiss!), huge stainless kitchen sink, cozy comfy living room, loved her lighting in the cottage, fantastic full bath that was pristine and modern, beautiful outdoor space w lights, fire pit & partially covered deck, comfortable beds w extra pillows and ceiling fans in each bedroom. pet friendly! fun extras … super close to the South State Park, Polar Pup Ice Cream and Nibbles Ice Cream spots … big wins for our family. 200 Market for espresso, coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches less than a 5 minute drive. Rachel the host was a dream to work with. very responsive and helpful. if you’re thinking about this cottage, go for it! fantastic price, cozy & clean & efficiently laid out. you’ll love it & rachel!

Nice Place!

The place was clean and well maintained. Furniture was as pictured but was a little to low to the ground for us to relax and feel comfortable while lounge around the house but it all was very well decorated and we enjoyed our stay.

We came to Higgins Lake for a wedding - while visiting we enjoyed two Beautiful Bonfires (we connected our iPad to WiFi to watch the Tigers both nights while sitting at the fire - so it's safe to say the WiFi has a great distance). The host was very kind and connected with us appropriately. I felt comfortable and safe in our environment. If you come here - I highly recommend spending time at the bonfire with family and friends!!Oh and the hammock - I spent nearly 2 hours listening to folk music and the surrounding nature!! I don't listen to folk music - but it just felt right!!The home was clean and decorated nicely.

Accurate photos & description, yet still much nicer in person. My partner & I stayed with our two senior dogs for two nights but wished we could’ve stayed longer. The neighborhood is quiet and densely forested with conifers, maples, & several other mature native trees. Very close to Higgins Lake, not far from Marl lake. Space was clean, well maintained, & well stocked with utensils, linens, cookware, & toiletries. Standard ceiling NOT a drop ceiling, & no sign of insects, mold or mildew (I have a severe allergy so this was extremely important!). Shower/bathtub had good pressure, pretty instant hot water. WIFI worked well, so did the TV, had several fun boardgames for all ages. Gas stove worked well & had a well seasoned cast iron griddle. All appliances seemed to be in good condition/working order. AC unit worked well in cooling/filtering the entire space. There are approx. 3 small stairs to get on the decks to get in the doors but the furniture is all lower to the ground & comfortable. Check in/out was seamless with a lockbox. The Host was courteous, accommodating, & prompt to reply, she was also easy to reach. The Wifi worked well. We unfortunately could not make use of the lovely yard or spend much time outside due to the Canadian forest fire smoke/impact on the air quality index, so we spent nearly the entire time indoors; not our original plan but still a nice time. We feel we need to return to have the full experience of this delightful cozy place. Would recommend.
