Unwind after an epic day of skiing powder in this cozy mountain home. Cedar Summit is a hidden treasure at Fernie Alpine Resort. With its vaulted ceilings and gorgeous river rock fireplace, the house is a great place to relax after a day of skiing. Relax in the gazebo with attached hot tub is surrounded by trees giving you a sense of privacy. The covered decks front and back are a great place to visit with friends and family while enjoying the mountain views. All this plus a large game room, an open-concept kitchen and five spacious bedrooms.

Ski home after riding powder all day. You’ll love the peaceful location, proximity to the ski hill & bike trails, the hot tub, pool table, coziness & rustic charm. Cedar Summit provides a quiet getaway for friends and families to gather and enjoy a mountain experience.

With a large extended family, we designed this home as a comfortable, welcoming space where everyone can relax, reconnect, and enjoy time together in a peaceful mountain setting. Our travels and stays in vacation homes around the world helped shape the thoughtful details you’ll find here. Please note we have a beautiful Lab/Husky cross and while our cleaning team carefully prepares the home for each stay, trace pet allergens may still be present.

Why they chose this property

The layout of this home provides the space for visiting with friends and family while providing the opportunity to retreat to the spacious bedrooms when needed. The crackling fire in the living room is the perfect area to relax after a day of skiing, biking or hiking while enjoying a glass of wine or local Fernie Brewing Company beer. The covered decks are a great way to start the morning with a cup of hot coffee and a blanket; with birds chirping and the wind rustling the trees, it is a refreshing start to the day away from the busy city.
