We had an incredible stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The space is warm, inviting, and stocked with every amenity you could possibly need for a seamless getaway. The host made the entire process effortless - communication was prompt, friendly, and clear, and the digital welcome guide made check-in and local recommendations a breeze. The location was fantastic, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience. The hot tub was an excellent added benefit. We truly could not have asked for a better home base and would host or stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended to anyone

Had a great time i a clean and well laid out shoe. Amazed at how much room was in the shoe house. The only reason it was not all 5 star review is that there were s couple places on the property undergoing maintenance and this was not displayed on the pictures or property description. It was no problem staying away from these areas it just would have been nice to know about it. The house was very clean and had everything you needed for a stay already there. Thanks for a wonderful mini vac.

One of our most unique sleeps ever and loved by the whole family! Lots to do at the property and I think we made use of about all of the amenities. Very spacious and we really enjoyed grilling our dinner while watching the sunset. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fun house to stay in. Despite uniqueness of home, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and a couple trip to York for good food.

This was the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday, as she collects Knick knack shoes for over 60 years. We had a great time!

Excellent stay, so unique! We loved the blending of original and retro style with updated amenities! Did not check out the hot tub because it was too cold, but game room/living area was a hit, beds were comfortable, and kitchen (although small) was well equipped.

It’s a shoe you get to stay in. What’s not to like? It was amazing to stay here. Clean, comfortable and so unique. Hot tub after a bike ride and fire pit were great amenities. Just do it.

My friend and I (both in our 70's) were so excited about our stay at the Shoe House, and it did not disappoint! We loved the game room, complete with a kitchenette. It was as fun and quirky as you might expect. It's a little pricey, but it is an historical site and something you won't find anywhere else. Totally worth it! the Shoe House!

If we could give higher than a 5, we would. We are a party of six who have traveled together for more than a few years and we all rated this stay as our most memorable!! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean, the kitchen is small but it is an absolutely grand room. The kitchen is very well stocked and the decor is absolutely beautiful. The memories this place evoked are so entertaining. Please stay - you will never regret one moment of staying in this wonderful getaway. The host is excellent - very kind, very responsive - what a joy!!!!!!

Lovely, unique place. My biggest complaint is for the price I expected nicer bed linens and bath towels. They are old, not very clean and needs updating. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it.

What a charming and memorable stay to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. In the midst of snow, winds, and below zero temps, we stayed cozy just absorbing all the historic details and relics in the home— from the books, articles, to antique rotary phone and phonograph, there was plenty to take in. We cooked in and found all the supplies needed, then had a fantastic night of sleep in the well- appointed bedrooms.
