Thank you Whitney for the great review. We hope you made it to Queen Wilhelmina Park. Yes, we love the fur babies. We are happy you enjoyed the cabin and serenity the cabin brings. Please come and see us again.
What a treat! Property displayed in every way described. Amenities were first-class; owners did not skimp on quality. Ginger Llewellyn was very professional and stayed in touch with us during our entire stay at the cabin. We will certainly recommend to others and will look forward to another visit at some time in the future.

Thank you for the splendid review. We are glad you and yours had a sweet Valentines weekend. Your Akita is absolutely beautiful. Certainly enjoyed chatting with you and thanks for taking such great care of the cabin during your stay.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My wife’s sister came with us to view the changing of the leaves and the beautiful countryside. Our host, Ginger, was always responsive to our communication. The cabin is beautiful and everything we needed was provided. We will definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much for the awesome review! We are so happy you guys got to enjoy the fall foliage. We love sharing our place with guests such as yourself.
Saw several deer, squirrels, rabbits and even a roadrunner. Very peaceful and quiet with a well stocked kitchen. The signs along the road close to the cabin were very helpful.

Alan, thank you and your dad for staying with us. I am happy you got to see some Kritters. Bring your wife next time...lol!
Our stay at the Kabin was fabulous! We will definitely be back for camp each year but my hubby and I plan to come back by ourselves. It is just so peaceful and lovely!
You guys thought of everything! Well except a tub…if it had a tub I’d probably never leave!
Thank you

Carol and her husband were excellent guests. They followed all the cabin rules and left the cabin clean. We enjoyed communicating back and forth of their special week of providing meals to all the young people at KBA. We hope to have a hot tub in the future for your relaxation. We would love to host you and your husband again.
The place was beautiful and so relaxing. Ginger really thought of everything for her guests. She is easy to get ahold of if needed and generally just a super nice person. I can not stop bragging about this place. It really is the perfect place to stay, just amazing, and being able to walk out on the porch every morning to see the deer was the cherry on top. If you are looking for a place to get away from a busy life, to relax and enjoy nature well this is it! I can not recommend it enough!

Thank you so much for splendid review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay.
This was exactly what we were looking for - quiet, secluded, scenic. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The deck is fantastic, with good furniture and a pleasant view across the fields. One unexpected feature was the woods just to the east of the cabin. It was a fine place to walk around and do some of the close up nature photography that I enjoy. Also, I think the wifi had the fastest internet we've ever had in one of these properties. I guess you could argue whether it should matter in a getaway in nature, but it was nice to have!Check-in was easy. We had no issues of any kind getting in, or while we were there. All in all, this is a great place to stay for a Talimena/Kiamichi trip.

Hi Cathy! I am so sorry you rated your experience so low. You only booked for 1 guests. And when I reviewed my security cam you had three vehicles for the entire weekend. The lack of communication is between you and Vrbo. You called me on the Thursday before your stay to ask if you could bring a pet and I said yes. You didn't mention the addtional 3 guests. So there was no lack of communication on my part. As stated in my texts Friday, you can always go in and change the number of guests in the Vrbo app. It is a shame that you felt to hurt my business because of your mistake. All though you had not communicated the 3 extra guests to me or changed your reservation in the Vrbo app, I still left you a 5 star review.
About the host
Hosted by Ginger Llewellyn
My husband and I are Oklahoma born. When we were looking for a land, we naturally thought of my hometown of Talihina, OK. We purchased a shell and have been renovating the inside for approximately 4 years. We lived away most of that time, so it took a while but, we are happy the inside is finished but we still have to add our porches outside. We love to stay at the cabin with our fur babies when time permits.
Why they chose this property
This property offers seclusion but not too far removed from neighbors. We have a deer feeder and encounter several deer sightings when visiting. There is no hunting on our property. You may see on occasion armadillo, opossum, raccoons, woodpeckers, squirrels and rabbits.
What makes this property unique
Even though we are located in the woods, you will have all the amenities of home. You can go into town for dinner or cook dinner in a fully equipped kitchen. We have spices, cooking oil and baking items for your convenience. You make your coffee in the Keurig and sit in the Porch and hopefully see some wildlife.
