Pirate's Bay Unit 309, affectionately named Dock Holiday, is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home located in the well-known Pirate’s Bay subdivision. This newly built home offers all the amenities you will need to enjoy a relaxing destination getaway!

As you enter Dock Holiday through the private patio and breezeway, you are greeted with soothing colors and elegant decor. The well-stocked kitchen has everything a cook might need to prepare the local catch of the day and includes both drip and Keurig coffee makers, a slow cooker and a blender. The spacious living area has a luxurious leather pull-out queen-size sleeper sofa and a 65-inch Smart TV with easy access to your streaming services at the touch of a button. The kids can bring their gaming consoles because a gaming mode is built in! There is another Smart TV in the primary master as well as flat-screen TVs in the other bedrooms. The dining room has ample seating for seven and additional seating at the breakfast bar for three.

The first primary bedroom is located off the living room and has a king-size bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a spa-style walk-in shower and dual vanities. The second primary has a queen-size bed with a private bathroom. It opens onto the small, private courtyard which is convenient for pets. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed. In a spacious alcove, there are twin-size bunks with railings and steps instead of a ladder for added safety. The third full bathroom is located across from the laundry closet which houses a full-size washer and dryer.

This Dock Holiday is steps from the shared resort-style family pool and only slightly farther is the adults-only pool!

Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, pet-friendly up to 25 pounds, towels and linens and Silver Sands concierge service. Golf carts are available to rent.

This was one of our favorite stays in Port A, if not our absolute favorite! This unit is located just perfectly and super easy to access. I love that each unit in this complex is its own building, so even though they are close to each other, you dont hear noise from neighbors to the side or above/under. There is SO MUCH space for a rental! The rooms are a nice size and the kitchen, dining, and living area are open and homey. Three separate bathrooms waa such a treat, our kids were never fighting over bathroom space. The pool area was nice and perfect for an afternoon dip. Short and easy drive to the beach, shopping, or to eat. Would 100% stay again!

Charming Comfortable Place

Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and beds. Great layout for all the family to enjoy. Well stocked, could have used more kitchen towels/pot holders. Only downside to this cottage was no windows to look out side other than the breeze way, no grass or view. Great neighborhood and pool was fun. Lovely stay.

The property is run by a rental company. Cheryl at Silver Sands was awesome at replying to messages. She was helpful. The property itself was pretty nice. Unfortunately, the housekeeping seems to have been crap. The dishwasher hadn't been run and still had dirty dishes in it. When we started cooking, we found that most of the dishes in the cabinets were not fully clean. The living room furniture and rug were covered in stains. The kitchen floor looks like it hasn't been mopped in months. One of the beds had dirty sheets, including some body and pubic hair. Gross! The only sheets we could use to replace them were meant for the living room sofa bed. While those sheets seemed to be clean, they were incredibly stained. The duvet cover on the dirty bed also included blood spots that weren't old. When we reported the disgusting sheets, all we got was an "I'm sorry." And in a house that sleeps 10, there should be 10 washcloths and towels for the bathroom. There were only 6 washcloths, and 8 towels. We requested more washcloths, but not towels since we were a party of 7. What was delivered was 3 towels. It was thanksgiving, so we didn't use the pool, and can't report about amenities. Overall, the house wasn't bad, though the back bathroom really needs a cabinet sink rather than the pedestal sink it has, and I'd say we'd be willing to go back, except it's clear that housekeeping sucks.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It wouldn’t be bad if all the fees weren’t applied. Some of the fees you should get back. The damage fee should be returned and there shouldn’t be a credit card fee. The cleaning fee is way overpriced. Other than that close to the beach.

Loved that it was pet and kid friendly! Space was perfect after a long day at the beach and the kids weren’t done with the fun yet we were able to head over to the pool where there is a playground and pool. The kids loved it! Everything was clean and well kept overall this was the perfect stay!

Review for PB309 --Dock Holiday

Overall a nice compact unit. It was easy to deal with management office and we extended for an extra day without issue. We do think it would be good to clean the carpet in the living room, it smells like a wet dog. Back of the living room television was covered in dust as well as the ceiling fan blades. On Friday night the electronic door lock locked us out but gentleman on call managed to unlock it. The television started going blank also that night so I have to wonder if it had something to do with us extending and maybe the dates not updated and the electronic unit thought we did not belong. We would like to come back to Port A and have a unit with windows and maybe a water view.

Disappointed

Was disappointed in stay. We were given the door code and pool code by email and when we arrived on Wednesday the pool code didn’t work. I had to call to let them know and after waiting for 30 minutes they called back with the correct code. Then on Saturday we could not get into the pool again because the code didn’t work. Guess they changed it and didn’t inform us. Luckily people let us in. The pool was dirty the entire weekend….even found a dead cockroach floating in the pool. Grill was disgusting as well Pictures looked beautiful but reality was a different story.

Nice little beach house!

This was a great property to stay at and the family had a great time! There were a few things that I noticed that could have been improved. The presentation of the house wasn’t the best. The beds seemed like they were sloppily made, I found jelly on the side of the trash can, the fridge was a little dirty, found some splatters on the wall. Seems like the house could have been cleaned better with that pricy cleaning fee. Lol On a maintenance side, the back bedroom ceiling fan needs to be secured. It’s not going to fall down, but it was making a knocking sound and made it hard to fall asleep and was annoying. Overall, we had fun and I would stay here again.

Perfect spot

Although we were a little upset about the whole not being able to rent a golf cart and take it across the highway because we didn’t know the location exactly we had a great time. The pool was awesome to have for evenings after the beach.

Very very pleasant!

Very spacious, very vclean! Worked out perfect for our family! Kitchen supplied everything we need. Even the patio was a nice place to dry off after going to the beach, and we were suprised to see a little outdoor shower to get the sand off! Surrounding area is nice - and very close to a convenient store/gas station. Huge TV with netflix was a hit with the kids. Would highly recommend this place! We'll be back next year!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Keypad didn’t work upon entry, ants in the bed, condo smelled of pet odors, pet hair on the floor, popcorn in the bed, wi-fi didn’t work, lost power twice in 3 days, pool facility unkempt, no trash bags, no broom. Maintenance laughed over the phone when called about guests being bitten by ants in bed overnight, waited over an hour and a half for him to show up, never did. Multiple calls to Silver Sands with no answer.

Beautiful home away from home

Property was exactly as pictured. Beautiful home and loved the three bedroom three bath. Perfect for our family of four and the one story open floor plan with breezeway was perfect for our fur baby to join as well
