Beautiful place and beautiful location. Only critique would be it needs more towels because the towels don’t dry when it’s damp out especially with 6 people using the same bathroom hand towels. Local shop doesn’t have much so if you’re planning on barbecuing make sure to stock up before you get to Port Renfrew.

A perfect place to get away for a couple days and just relax. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is it. The atmospheric river kept us mostly indoors but we still managed a walk on Sombrio beach.

Idyllic setting on the bay

Wickham cottage faced the serene bay of Port Renfrew. From the deck we could see the entire coast line. The interior was nicely appointed and designed with three bedrooms on the lower level and a full bathroom, laundry room and storage. Two of the bedrooms had views of the bay. The upper level had a spacious living room with a gas fireplace, deck, full bathroom and kitchen. The only issues we faced were drain problems in both bathrooms. When we asked for extra linens for our four night stay we were told that we must pay $5 for each item.

Beautiful views! Beautiful area! Really disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen! Had to rewash EVERYTHING we used. It was disgusting! Never experienced this before. Hopefully the owners take note. The pillows and beds were very poor. Such a beautiful spot, and we had a good time! Just expected a higher standard.
