House was nice and clean with plenty of beds. Lots of outdoor space and plenty of parking for guys golf trip. Just needs a larger kitchen table or table in the finished basement.
Lots of room and home was as described. Pet friendly and easy to contain the dogs out of the carpeted rooms on the hard floors. Kitchen items could be better for cooking for a large group, but we had a grest stay and would go back. Communication was prompt and the owner even ordered us some dish towels since there weren't any when we got there. Nice fire pit too!
We came up for a family reunion and found this property that may accommodate a wheelchair. Had a ramp on the front. Everything was great. Location was perfect for where we were headed. Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the grandparents. Easy check in and check out. Host was very quick with responses. Would stay again.
Had a great time. Plenty of things for the kids to do, they especially enjoyed the trampoline and basketball hoop. We all enjoyed the local attractions such as putt putt and the Roscommon zoo. Would recommend this place to other families around 10 people.
Traveled with extended family to family reunion. The first thing my 2yr old grandson said to describe the kitchen was “this is nice!” Very roomy and, unlike some other places, well stocked with necessities. Interaction with host was quick and helpful. Overall, wonderful stay!!
Our whole group enjoyed an extended weekend at the cozy cottage! We had one small issue with the internet but Yemey very promptly replied and we were back up & running within 30 minutes.
The lower level (plus additional fridge!) was a hit with the kids in our group. We also loved the outdoor space and close proximity to the state parks.
Would recommend!!
We were 8 guys there to play golf. Online it said u had 2 twin beds but one was a trundle bed that was hard for a small adult to sleep in. The other twin required u to climb up steps and crawl in the bed. Need to b better at describing twin beds as they r better suited for kids and not for adults over 65.

I apologize for the confusion on the twin beds. We provide pictures of each bedroom and beds to ensure it is a good fit for our guests.
Yemey's place was fantastic. It was clean and came with all the amenities you could need. The set up was great for our group - I was downstairs in the large lower level with my young ones. There was even a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep them from running up constantly. As a parent, I really appreciated that! Yemey is very quick to respond and always pleasant to deal with. 10/10!
House was clean and very spacious for 7 adults. 4 children and 2 dogs. Great half way point for Higgins Lake, Torch Lake and Traverse Bay. I would like to suggest that you add more silverware and dishware for large family's. Also would suggest that you have the freezer cleared out more for family's that bring their food with them. Other than those 2 suggestions the house was perfect. Thank you letting us enjoy your home.
Family never gets together often enough. My brother’s family often made trips to Massachusetts to visit my mother, so this time we trekked out to see him and his crew.
We had 7 adults and 4 children and found the accommodations to be perfect for us. One group stayed on the lower level the rest of us in the main house, worked out fantastic!!
The hosts were easy to communicate with, provided and excellent home away from home, and made the trip easy, comfortable, and enhanced our visit with family.
I highly recommend this and will be a return visitor next trip to the area. Book in confidence and enjoy as we did!!
Thanks for the memories. 😎🎶✌️

No Hot Water
We had no hot water for three days communicated with the property manager each time. Their maintenance mail was supposed to come the first day never showed up called again the next day she informed me that he would be out about 2 PM and he showed up at 10 PM and then we left the next day at 9 AM there was barely any utensils. And she did change in the check in time from 3 PM to 7 PM and I was fine with it, but I shouldn’t have paid for the full day if she changed it with no rhyme or reason.

Mr. Paul was advised about the late check-in( 3 hours difference) 5 days prior to his check-in date to ensure he had time to plan accordingly. As compensation, he was offered a 7pm check-out time ( 9 hours extra than usual check-out time).
When he was advised about the change he had to problem until after check-out. The check-in instructions advises of not having enough utensils or plates for a large group. Paul did complain about the hot water. However, our maintenance person did not find a problem. Large groups before him and after him did not have a problem. Paul was not an honest upfront guest and we will never host him again. He seemed to find a problem after the fact to get a refund. We are an honest family who thrive on making our guests as comfortable as possible and this guest definitely does not align with our standards.
The cozy cottage was a nice place to stay. I would recommend some things. Showers were hardly warm for more than 5 minutes, we were unable to find the water heater to turn it up so showers kind of sucked. There was no hand towels to dry hands or clean up counters, or pull things out of the oven so that wasn’t super convenient. My kids were super excited about the zip line, but it did not work. Also the propane on the grill was basically empty, but thankfully we brought some. Not a ton of silverware which was fine for us but we had to wash often or use the plastic utensils we brought. I really liked the downstairs area. 2 of our kids slept down there and when we left to go to the beach or whatever that’s where we kept the dogs. Kids loved the Halo scooters had a great time on those. We also like to eat together especially on vacation, so thankfully the weather cooroperated and we ate outside at the picnic table. Overall nice place, family enjoyed time away just a few things could have made it excellent.
