My daughter and I visited here in the winter to go sledding at nearby resort. We were both blown away at how beautiful this house was. The entire process of booking, checking in, and communication from owner was perfect!
Great stay, had some family visit us when up in Wrightwood. Cabin was clean and definitely a warm feel to it. The fenced in property allow you to let the dog roam. Good outdoor seating areas. Property is close to Mountain High Ski. Cool little town. Good getaway!
This mountain cabin was exactly as advertised or better. Our group had a great stay. The home and the hosts are top notch. It’s very close to all local attractions. Thank you for everything!
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Plenty of space. Very nice outdoor area for hanging out and BBQ ing. Has a fire pit that we used every night. Bought everything to make s’mores at the local market.
Easy to walk to town. Great location.
This location was everything and more for my family. I loved the rustic and lodging look. We had a very fun experience. The lodge had everything we could of possibly needed to enjoy the weekend. More than enough bed space for my children. Overall, I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who’s looking for a home away from home and a great experience with the family.
The property was as described and decorated for the Christmas holiday making a wonderful place for our family. the kitchen is well equipped with am ample supply of dishware and appliances, beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets and even some faux fur throws in the living room. lots of cool games and a high chair, playpen for our baby.
Let me start by saying that the communication with the owners leading up to our stay was excellent from the get-go. They are very communicative and responsive and accommodated us every step of the way. Upon arrival, we were greeted with gracious niceties including a welcome sign and goodies for our fur-babies, which is such a great touch! The cabin itself is well adorned with everything our family of 5 needed (with three little kids) to feel as though we were at home. The owners have literally thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible! I only wish we could give them more than 5 stars! We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone with or without kids. 10 Stars!!!
My family had a great trip. This cabin was one of the better ones we have stayed in over the years. There were only six of us on the trip, and the cabin could have accommodated several more in the bedrooms.
We visited on the tail end of winter, so it was cold outside. We stayed inside nearly the whole time. Puzzles, reading, eating and naps filled our days. The cabin stayed warm enough. The downstairs being a touch colder, but was fine for sleeping.
At 6 people we fit perfectly at the dining room table. And in the living room too. Even on the front porch on one warmer day.
Check in and out was easy. All the house rules were reasonable. And the hosts were easy and quick in their communication.
We had a great stay. The property is definitely geared towards families and families with young children. If you are traveling and didn't want to bring most of your own stuff this place basically has everything you might need. Most home vacation properties come with the bare necessities. We chose this location because it had wheelchair access which as most families who travel needing this know it's very difficult to find. The first floor my husband was able to move around. We did reposition the furniture to make it easier to get into the living room. The kind bed is the only bed that you can get a wheelchair up to the side directly. If your transferring from your chair it's a pretty wide transfer due to the bed frame. Which was manageable but we did need an additional person to help transfer out of bed. All showers are a tub and narrow which made for us to hard to shower my husband but which wasn't a huge deal we were there two nights. We will definitely be back at this location.
