Rustic cabin 75 feet from the Mississippi. Heated outdoor shower open until it freezes outside. This is a converted outdoor structure next to a larger house next to St. Cloud State. It has a wood stove, and in wall electric heater. Oak floors, pine ceiling, recessed lights, tv, microwave, and mini fridge. This is a micro tiny cabin. It has a daybed or a twin over twin. It has an outdoor shower and a bathroom that’s inside the main house. This is truely a rustic cabin. It has a new window air conditioner, WiFi, snd free continental breakfast. I can sweep the place out and the next day there might be a fly in the cabin. It’s rustic.

The property is very small, breakfast was amazing, owners are very nice and welcoming, plenty of smallmouth to catch at the river, overall a good place for a short stay
This is a perfect little getaway for a nice and relaxing weekend. Dan and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be returning!

So much potential!!!! But…
We were so excited to go here! *great communication prior to our date of arrival- He was responsive, and kind. We arrived and were a little surprised by exactly how rustic it was (brush covered paths, webs everywhere, tons of dead bugs in windows. :-) * futon was jammed tightly stuck when we attempted to make it into a bed. - we were assured it was not broken needed us to remove mattress, crawl behind it & jimmy it. We did, it was broken a bolts had fallen out and we need two people to be able to line it up for use. And the disgusting bugs and more cobwebs behind it were a little more than I did intended to deal with- even rustic. Daniel is extremely responsive when contacted. The extremely disappointing thing, was that we booked the property, intending to utilize the Mississippi river access that it described it had. With kayaks and paddle boat. However, the paddle boat was still on the dock and tied up along with the kayaks as they have been stored for winter. The path to get down to the lake had a keep out sign, so we did verify that it was OK to go down, it was incredibly overgrown and being asked to sign liability earlier makes sense. With all of that, they added an annoyance of a dead remote control and not being able to reach WiFi? It wasn’t a stay that was ready for guests.
