Loved it!!

Wonderful little bungalow. Always wanted to stay in one. Very cute, lots of atmosphere. I highly recommend it. We had no problem with kitchen, being fully stocked. Very cozy and close to lots of wineries and other venues. Thank you Iris and Ted

Valentine Get Away

This VRBO was a great value and is in a desirable location! Its a short walk away from downtown Orcutt where there are plenty of restaurants and shops to enjoy. There is a also a hiking trail you can walk to. Plenty of hiking and bicycling destinations from there. The house itself has everything you may need including Netflix, WiFi, a full kitchen and plenty of lounging areas. There's a large living room where you can play games and entertain. We appreciate staying here for our romantic Valentine day's get away.

Disappointed

Disappointedly I write this review. We had such hope we would find a place for our Christmas visits. I give this rental a minus rating. The furnishing worn and tattered. Probably 3rd or 4th hand me down, you know that old chair no one wants. Bed linen and pillows were the same. TV was streaming, internet was way slow, tv just set and circled for several minutes before finally opening. No local channel coverage. The kitchen: the only cooking items was one oversized pot and a frying pan. Both, even goodwill would have thrown out. There were no mixing bowls or glassware (drinking cups were plastic throw away). Once again, things no one wanted so they put it in this house. Dishwasher would not close, no use for it. But then, again there was nothing to cook with, so we really did not need one. Ah yes coffee provided. Nice gesture, except it was best if used by 03/2020. Again, just something they wanted to get rid of. Cleanliness of house is poor. Had to wash anything used in the kitchen before use. Beautiful little house if properly remodeled.

This was the first guests and did have some issues due to heating and fireplace. The hosts would have brought anything to make the guests stay more comfortable. As far as the complaints go this is the first that I was made aware of any of the complaints. Very disappointed in your review and we will strive to make it better for the next guests. Thank you for your suggestions and for staying with us.
