Lovely property and perfect for our family! The property is very clean and very comfortable. It is larger than pictured and gave everyone plenty of space. Our toddler granddaughter loved the outside fenced space and the toys & books! The kitchen was clean, well stocked and the appliances are all in good shape. Lovely views of pastoral farm life. This is one of the best properties we've stayed in through VRBO! Thank you to the hosts!

Clean and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay at this charming farmhouse. There was plenty of room for our family of 2 adults and three children ages 8 and 10. Everything was very clean and everything we needed was readily available. The house is in the country and very quiet and secluded. Our kids really enjoyed playing in the fenced-in yard and with the fun tree swing. If in the area, we would stay again. Thank you!

Tina was a wonderful host! My family felt very much at home in her beautifully decorated home. Tina had thought of everything! Toys, high chair, porta crib, even kid friendly plates and forks! Our granddaughter had everything she needed. There were even beach towels and beach toys for our trip to Centerville Beach. Tina answered all of my questions quickly and even apologized about the freshly fertilized neighboring field. We just thought we were smelling all the cows! If we are ever back in the Ferndale area, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you again, Tina!

Peaceful and Serene Farmhouse

We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint farmhouse. Location very quiet and peaceful. Decor charming. NIce fenced yard with grass. Lots of games. Kids had their own rooms and play area upstairs. Spacious master suite downstairs. Well apportioned and large common areas. Lots of farm animals around which the kids enjoyed watching. Great jumping off point for all things Humboldt - very centralized to southern and norther Humboldt attractions. Also great to stay local in Ferndale. We'll definitely be back!!

About the host

Hosted by Tina Toste

Host profile image
My husband have lived here on the property 45 years. We have raised our children on the dairy and we bought the property from his parents who have owned the ranch since 1967. We have spent two years restoring the original redwood walls, and floors.

Why they chose this property

This home has been beautifully restored and is on a country road three miles from the Beautiful Victorian town of Ferndale. My husband and I spent two years restoring his family home. We have restored the beautiful redwood walls and redwood floors under three layers of flooring! We are very proud of the work to restore the home and can't wait to share it with other families! You can go to the beach, the Redwoods, or stroll through town looking at the beautiful homes. Sit outside at the firepit and watch the cows roam in the nearby fields.

What makes this property unique

Whole house with 3 bedrooms, with 4 beds, King, Queen, and a double and twin, living room, Flex room, and a parlor. Original wood walls, and original wood floors. Antique sink in kitchen with exceptional views all around!
