Welcome to Hot Cocoa! Be among the first to stay here! A newly built 1 bedroom and 1 bath cabin.
Come to this cabin to have a great vacation and get away from it all. Fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, king bed, fire pit and lots of stars in the sky!

Master bedroom with glass sliding doors to the large covered porch. King size bed with all linens supplied. Comfy pillows. Large screen tv.
Living room has a comfy oversized couch and chair. Live edge wood dining bar with barstools. Large screen smart tv and blue ray DVD. (bring your Netflix passwords!)
Cabin has central heat and air.

Full bathroom with shower. Towels and washcloths provided. Hairdryer under sink.


Pack and Play childs crib available ON REQUEST.

Fully stocked kitchen. Full size stove, microwave and fridge. All utensils, plates, glasses, toaster, cookware, Keurig K cup coffee maker. (2 K cups provided).

Full size washer and dryer. (starter laundry items supplied)

Outside patio table offers a nice view. Propane gas grill. Large covered front porch with ceiling fans.
4 additional chairs around the fire pit. Fire pit is with twinkle lights. On clear nights this is the perfect spot to see hundreds of stars. firewood is not provided, please purchase locally at any nearby gas station. Marshmallow sticks are provided.

Cabin themed decor throughout. Lots of unique touches to really make you feel welcome.

This property has one neighbor, another vacation cabin we owned named Toasted Marshmallow. Perfect if you have a larger party but wanting your own space.

We do have 5 other properties around the corner if you have a larger group.

Before you pack up and head to the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Dillsboro NC elevation starts at 1,975 feet. Think of this as your starting point. If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm.
We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and you should have no issues.

Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and starter laundry items.

Please note this is a SMOKE FREE property. Ashtrays are provided outside on the porch. If the home smells of smoke, you may lose part or all of your damage deposit for additional cleaning & odor removal.

*****This property is located off US 74 in a curve. You will hear road noise while outside. While it is not obtrusive it is noticeable, but we think the convenient location makes up for this.

*****This is a DOG friendly property, however we ask that you bring a kennel for your pet if you plan on leaving him/her alone at the house. We do charge a $45 non refundable fee for bringing your pet. If you are bringing your pet YOU MUST select the pet option at checkout. If you do not it will be taken from your damage deposit. DOGS ONLY

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our anniversary. The Hot Cocoa cabin was perfect. It rained the majority of the time but we didn’t mind because the cabin was so cozy. Cabin was clean and fresh. High quality kitchen utensils. Bed very comfortable. Front porch is great, sitting in morning sipping coffee or relaxing in hot tub. Fire pit chairs very comfortable for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. We will ve back for sure !

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in this comfy cozy mountain cabin. The deck was wonderful … we ate a couple breakfasts and dinner one night enjoying the outdoor dining, plus spent one afternoon simply relaxing before we headed home. The cabin was very clean and we found everything we needed on hand. Thank you to our hosts for sharing your mountain retreat. PS. The gravel road did give us pause the first time, but we had absolutely no issue trekking up that hill.

The cabin was beautiful, clean with everything we needed. What we didn’t know about was the road to get to the cabin. Slippery, bumpy and our tires would spin out even with traction turned off. My car barely made it and down

This cabin was centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Just a short drive to Cherokee, Bryson City, Dillsboro, and Sylva. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts go above and beyond with stocking the necessities and extras to make the cabin feel like home. The bed was extremely comfortable. I slept great every night. The hot tub was wonderful after busy days hiking and exploring. This is the best VRBO rental I've ever booked and cannot say enough about it. I would absolutely stay in one of their properties again.
