Thank you for choosing my property. Check out is noon. Late checkout $20/hr. Leave dirty sheets on top of beds. Damp towels should be on shower or tub floors, not on wood floors or furniture.

Ensure all faucets are off & no toilet is running. Separate trash: see guide in kitchen over trash cans. Bins are in the alley accessed thru garage: tan: garbage; blue: recycling (no food or diapers)

Turn off all ACs. Ensure all windows are closed & doors are locked. Put the key in the lockbox (1231) & SCRAMBLE the numbers or the house is not secure. Place lockbox in yellow can on front porch.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Only registered guests are allowed on the property without prior written permission and guests' full names.

All guests must observe quiet hours after 10pm (11pm FrI, Sat)

Early or late check in for $20/hour upon availability.

Thanksgiving in San Antonio

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering at this Historic Victorian Home in San Antonio. Perfect location for our Son who attend Trinity University and was playing in the Football Playoffs. We enjoyed a fabulous home cooked meal in the Kitchen & Enjoyed Family in the Dining Room. Everyone enjoyed gathering for games & the game room and back porch. Wonderful communication for our host Paula. Thanks for sharing your home.

College Group Reunion

The property was an excellent choice for us to gather and plan our activities in San Antonio. We had plenty of rooms for the 10 of us to have an assigned bed and bathrooms. The kitchen was certainly spacious and equipped for us to cook breakfast and an evening meal. The porch was the favorite gathering place to reminisce and plan the next day’s activities. The location is ideal for going to downtown San Antonio (13 minutes by car) or the airport (10 minutes by car). And easily convenient to departing the area to explore the Hill Country. The owner was very helpful in guiding me around the property and where to find certain items. She was very accessible as we used our phone messaging to communicate more effectively than the VRBO app. All my guests had fond memories of the weekend together and the visit to San Antonio.

Why they chose this property

The Magnificent Mansion Off Main Ave in San Antonio is my largest property, ideal for extended families. I fell in love with the spectacular columns, 2 generous balconies, & 3rd-floor view of the colorful downtown Hemisfair Tower. The wide sidewalks encourage long walks to admire the unique details of the homes in the Monte Vista Historic Neighborhood, whose motto is "Neighbors in History." The stately mansion sits amongst other magnificent homes in a neighborhood steeped in history. The property's proximity to many churches and wedding venues makes it an ideal home base for multigenerational groups. My friends call it the "Texas Tara," just north of downtown San Antonio. In my 12 years as hostess, I often had requests for very large groups. This property sleeps 20. Check out my many 5-star reviews at my other properties.

This home of Dallas Cowboys owner Clint Murchison Jr as a young boy has a darling children's room equipped with a real dollhouse for your favorite children (and children at heart). We offer games for adults as well. Oh, the fun you will have!
