We enjoyed our stay at this homey little cabin on a beautiful lake surrounded by nature. On a clear day, you can see Mt Redoubt. Very quiet area but still close to town. We were welcomed back one day by a Mama moose right off the driveway and saw a porcupine on our way out one morning. Tom and Elaina were excellent hosts. Perfect stay for our 35th Anniversary.
The Host and Hostess went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible. Great Location! Beautiful views, very peaceful and only minutes away from the Kenai River and Soldotna.
Great place to stay on the Kenai, perfectly located between the Kenai/Kasilof Rivers for fishing, wildlife viewing etc. Elaina and Ted were both very nice and accommodating hosts. Would stay here again on future trips!
The property was exactly as described on the VRBO website. The view of the lake and mountains was fantastic as we looked out the large window in the kitchen and dining area. The house was ideally located to accommodate our fishing, hiking, and sightseeing. The hosts were very friendly and respectful of our privacy during the stay. We highly recommend this property and will consider it for our lodging needs during future trips to Alaska.
What a treasure it was to stay in this fantastic cabin. We enjoyed every second and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. It was conveniently located, clean, cozy, and had the best and most helpful hosts ever. We can't wait to go back.
Property was as advertised. The view from the cabin was very nice, overlooking the lake and out to the mountains. The bathroom was particularly nice, with a rain shower and copper sink. Overall great stay.
Pictures don’t do it justice- beautiful spot just outside of Soldotna- quiet and peaceful - Elaina and Ted are responsive, helpful and kind- loved our stay
My wife and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The property photos don't do it justice. Comfortable, clean, and the most friendly hosts.
We hope to return again in the future!
I'm so glad I found this place. It was such an enjoyable place to stay. The place is so cute, and it was so nice to set on pouch and look at the lake. You are off the main road so the cabin so very quiet. It was located in a great area so was short drive to town and centrally located for our other activities that we had planned; I would highly recommend this cabin.
Elaina and Ted were amazing hosts! Our entire stay was first class from start to finish and we would not hesitate to book this as our home away from home again! The views from the deck are spectacular! Thank you for an amazing stay!

This is a wonderful quiet cabin located on the owners property. The hosts are amazing!
We had a wonderful trip to the Kenai. This cabin is a great launching spot to visit much of the Kenai Peninsula! A quiet cabin that works great for a couple or small family of 4. The hosts are helpful and very friendly. They do live on site in their home next door.
This place is so beautiful and peaceful! The cabin is overlooking the lake, so you get the best place to sit and drink coffee in the morning. We loved the sun room for evening relaxation. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Elaina and Ted are the sweetest hosts. We’ll be back in the future for a longer stay!
