About this property

Little Blue Cottage - wooded getaway, near beaches and towns

Our cozy, family-friendly, newly remodeled cottage is a stone's throw from Lake Michigan and near Harbor Shores. Great location for peace and quiet, surrounded by trees on a large wooded property and isolated from any nearby neighbors. It's close to beautiful downtown St. Joseph, but also not far at all to South Haven and Coloma. Beaches, boating, several golf courses and great dining are all closeby. Home is quiet, private, clean and cozy.

Vaulted ceilings over the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Two general sleeping areas: one we like to call the "Lake Suite" with 3 beds, study area and sink, and the other slepping area contains 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Reclaimed wood can be found throughout the cottage from the former fruit stand that once was on the property. Everything here is brand new including the kitchen, bathroom, flooring and carpet, windows, paint and trim. We wanted to create a very comfortable space that would provide a cozy experience for you to relax and unwind all year. Check out the photos, we think you'll enjoy it!!

Rural wooded setting across the street from Lake Michigan. Closest neighbors are over 300' away. 8 minute drive from St Joseph and 20 minute drive from South Haven.

The exterior driveway is monitored by exterior camera for security and safety.

When you're ready to leave please close all windows and lock all doors and press the [Yale] button on the keypad to lock the main door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We're on a septic system, which means human waste only down the toilet and liquid only down the sinks

Me and the girls had a wonderful weekend for our girls mini getaway. Kira was a wonderful host! Great communication throughout the whole process. The cottage was so nice and very clean. We did not struggle to get inside at all. The cottage is close to all the shops and the beach. Everyone is so nice, everywhere we went. We will definitely come back! We had a great stay visiting family in Michigan. So much to do and everything is very close to the cottage (downtown St. Joes, Silver Beach, etc). The cottage is awesome for families and we felt like we had room to spread out. Host was also very communicative. Thanks for a fun trip!

Great place for a family. The place isn't only exceptionally clean, it's well decorated and very comfortable. Loved how they had coffee sitting ready for us to use in the morning. Only 5 minutes north of St. Joseph (i.e. great location). Hosts were extremely responsive and very nice. Great stay!

Fun weekend!

We had a family wedding in St. Joseph and this place was the perfect house to rent for the weekend. House was super clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. Very close to a public beach and felt so secluded from all the other homes in the area! Would go back again!
