We stayed for a week and loved this place. In great location to St Helena yet it was very peaceful and quiet setting. Loved the outdoor fire pit, deck and grill where we spent most evenings. The owner was very easy to deal with and made our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to our next stay.

Wonderful home away from home
My family stayed here for a week around New Years. Although it was way too cold to use the pool, the hot tub was lovely. The outdoor fire pit was a big hit with my kids, as was the large backyard. The location is a great point from which to explore the beautiful St Helena (much more idyllic than the town of Napa) and nearby vineyards. The house is spacious and well maintained. Huge, comfortable Master bedroom. (Heated master bathroom floor was a special treat during the winter cold!) Owners were very nice! We'd stay here again in a minute!

What a gem!
My husband and I stayed here for an entire week and LOVED the place. It has everything you need and want... great kitchen set-up, breakfast nook, lots of windows, 2 indoor fireplaces, on and on. It was beautiful inside and well kept up. The location was right in the heart of some of the best wineries. Owners were very kind. All around, we loved it. We hope to stay here again another year!

Serene home on Silverado Trail
We just got back from a week at this property and the location is great as it was extremely central to all of the wineries and restaurants we were visiting, along with being close to some amazing hiking trails! The home was a quick 5 minute drive to St Helena, which is a fabulous town, and short drives to Yountville, Calistoga, and Napa. The property is located off of Silverado trail so did get highway noise. The property was nice - the pool and hot tub were great! The home itself was very airy with lots of natural light and high ceilings. The master bedroom was great, but the 2nd bedroom with queen bed was slightly disappointing in size; as two couples travelling together it would've been nice to have the second bedroom more of a 'master' as well. The home was missing some items that could've really upgraded/made it a fabulous property such as: clothes hangers in the closets, bathroom amenities (hotel style shampoo/body wash), alarm clocks in bedrooms, and tvs in the bedrooms. Overall, however the home was very serene and I would recommend it for a couple looking for a romantic getaway!

About the host
Hosted by Cherry Cotter
We are a family of four residing in San Francisco. We love to go to St. Helena after a hectic week in the City; it provides the perfect respite from the San Francisco fog in the summer.
Why they chose this property
It reminded us of the French wine producing regions and it was a lot closer!
What makes this property unique
Complete rest! The property's privacy, large outdoor areas, pool and eating areas offer such a beautiful setting to relax. It is also very convenient to wine tasting, shopping, and outdoor activities if desired.
Serene Home! The design of the home conforms to the outdoors perfectly. When inside, it still feels like you are outside because of the windows on all sides. Every room has beautiful views. When the sun sets, the fire pit outside is extremely cozy, and if you just want to burrow inside, the blinds throughout can be drawn for a very private night time feeling.
Perfect Location! Not too close to the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Helena, but not too far either. I like it being 10 minutes from Calistoga also since that is a very different town from St. Helena; a little more down to earth.
