Dolphin Watch - Beachfront - Charming - Cozy - Boho hotel!

This oceanfront 1 bedroom 1 bath condo is both charming and cozy. It features hardwood floors, a gas log fireplace, new kitchen cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances travertine counter in the bath with a vessel sink and new custom tiled walk in shower. This condo is an end unit located on the third (top) floor of the building which gives you more privacy and a wonderful ocean breeze for those warm summer nights. You can enjoy both beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the covered porch as you watch the dolphins play.

There is a private boardwalk over the dunes right on to the beach. The Folly Fishing Pier is just steps away and you are only one block from downtown 'Funky Folly'. Walk to the many wonderful restaurants, bars and beach shopping. Also, downtown Charleston is only 12 miles away if you choose to venture off the beach.

This is the owners' personal condo. We enjoy the unit often and even got married here. We hope you will enjoy your stay here as much as we do!

Great Views!

We had an amazing time at the beach! The property was as described except for fridge/freezer acting “on the fritz”. Hosts communicated timely and explained a new one was on the way this week. Thank you for the opportunity and hope to come back again!

the kitchen supplies did not accommodate 3 people, plenty of coffee mugs, but only 2 random glasses and 2 wine glasses - not a set of anything including silverware. Even if limited to two people, supplies are sparse.

Over all happy with the property. Disappointed with it saying it slept 4. While there is a pull out couch it was in such bad shape that the person sleeping there would push down on the mattress and fall through the underside of the bed. We ended up having to leave it set up as a couch, cover it with pillows and then cover the whole thing with a sheet. It was pretty stained and over all not in good condition. So at most it slept 3...luckily that was all we had. Other than that there were minor things that could use some up keep but overall we were happy with the accommodations. The renter was responsive when we couldn't figure out how to turn the light on....fyi it has a remote so if that is misplaced you can't turn the light on in the bedroom. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with basic items to do minor cooking. It is right on the beach. Im not sure if this rental allowed animals, but other rooms in the building did. Wasn't an issue for us but could be if someone can't handle the daily/nightly barking. There is not an elevator which again was no issue for us, but I did talk with some other renters that didn't realize that and had a difficult time getting up to the third floor carrying all their items. We enjoyed our stay there.

My husband I stayed and thought the place was exactly as advertised. Great central location to all the restaurants and right on the beach. It was a short car ride to Charleston, which was super convenient.

Great Beach Location

Clean unit with a great view of the ocean and pier from its balcony. Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Close to Bert's Market. Easy access to the beach and dedicated onsite parking. Would book again.

Wonderful stay

We came for our baby moon and our stay was so relaxing, we ended up changing our travel plans to extend 3 extra days. The location was could not have been better, private access to the beach and within walking distance to everything. The condo was perfect for just the two of us. Stacy was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond.

Paradise close to home

WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE ....... I can honestly say we savor every minute u til we had to leave. Everything was perfect!!!! I'm an anxious to go back .... close to everything and most of all the commendations were AWESOME and their place has so much character!!!!

Short get away

We just love Folly Beach and wanted to be right on the beach this time. Although the porch was extremely nice as was the view, i felt like there might have been an animal in the condo so i had a reaction. Since the listing said no pets allowed, i thought there had been no pets at all. Great locations though

Love the location! Perfect for a small family!

Washer and dryer was so nice to have with young children! Especially with all of the sand from the beach! Shower/tub needs to be updated. No plug for bath and shower door keeps falling off track. If there is a problem, owner is ON IT! Great communication and quick to respond if problems or questions!

Great location but a few things you should know…

The condo has a fantastic view of the ocean and pier. But unfortunately on our trip, the beach refurbishment was taking place pretty much right next to our condo. That information was not disclosed in the booking and we could hear the trucks beeping and working all night. That was a huge bummer. Our neighbors also said the same thing. As much money as we spent on the short weekend trip we were there, that information should have been given to us. We could even hear them while we were trying to relax on the beach and the trucks would go by, drag the sand, and honk their horns at the people on the beach. Not so relaxing. The condo was beautiful, not the cleanest, but it was fine for just the two of us. One of the neighbors had a dog and it barked A LOT! Overall , the condo was nice. Just wish we would have known these things before booking.

Folly beach

The view is amazing! The condo on the other hand was just ok. The keypad door knob was loose and about falling off the front door. It wasn’t as clean as you would expect. We found someone’s fake fingernail on the living room floor. When I ran the dishwasher there was still a soap in it. I’m not sure the dishes we had been eating off of were actually clean. There was no tv in the bedroom. We had to buy toilet paper while we were there because there was only one roll for a five day stay. I got an email from the host giving me information about our stay at 10pm when our checkin was 10 am. I was not impressed with this property, but again, the view of the ocean was amazing!

Folly Condo

The property is in a wonderful location with great views. It is close to great restaurants, it’s on the beach, It’s close to the pier. It would have been nice to know before hand that there were 49 steps from the ground level to the condo level. For someone older with artificial joints, it was a struggle to carry all our luggage to the condo. I should have been more aware and realized that there wasn’t an elevator before booking. Once in the condo it was surface clean but could use a deep cleaning. It also needs some things repaired. There is an outlet cover missing, an outlet that was worn to the point that it wouldn’t hold a phone charger, the bathroom faucet barely has a trickle of water coming out when on full, the shower curtain has mold starting to grow along the bottom etc. We really appreciated that it was smoke free but a lot of other people sat on the decks and smoked to the point we weren’t able to enjoy our deck and beautiful views. We did have a cockroach run across the kitchen floor and run under the dishwasher before we could kill it. We did only see one.

This is an amazing location in Folly Beach and we will definitely be back! It is so close to all the restaraunts and shopping in town and the view of the beach, pier and ocean is amazing! It is right there off the balcony which has awesome views. We spent so much time out there just soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the views. The beach is aslo fantastic and just steps away! The room has all your basic amenities and meal-prep items for making your own meals if needed, but there are so many fantastic retaurants within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the furiture cozy. The bathroom shower is huge! My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and it was thouroughly relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

This property location is perfect ! Within walking distance of downtown and all restaurants/shops. We rented a golf cart and hardly used it (except to tour the island). The 3rd floor view is amazing and the end unit provides a nice bit of privacy as no one passes in front of the patio area The property photos represent the location correctly.There are a few games and a puzzle (which we did when it rained)The washer /dryer is shared with next door tenant but there was no conflict to get anything washed. The only things i would like to see improved-Two of the smallest rolls of TP lasted about 3 days. Maybe add a box of Kleenex ?-The sink in the restroom is one of those bowl on counter styles (on top of a high counter). My wife is shorter and it was challenging to use-Coffee maker could use replaced--we just bought cold brewI would 100% stay here again if its available when we go back to Folly Beach.

Lovely View

Loved the end unit and covered porch. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Refrigerator wasn't working but the owner addressed the situation as best she could. No elevator in the building so three flights of stairs to the third level, but not bad at all.
