All accommodation description were spot on. We used the home for rest relaxation with family but also was great for our college students to complete their work.
We loved our stay at this Big Bay property! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had! The home was beautiful, fully stocked with everything we could need and very comfortable! The views were amazing and the beach was wonderful! We’d absolutely recommend this home to friends and family!!
Our family of 14 stayed at Skyfall for a week as a gathering place for a family reunion (4 different families) with people ranging in age from 2 years- 76 years old.
It is tucked away, but accessible- 35 minutes west of Marquette. It has all the comforts of home and Erin/our hosts were incredibly easy to communicate with. On top of it, our doggos were allowed which really allowed us all to relax and enjoy the entirety of the vacation!
We would highly recommend and we look forward to the opportunity to visit again!
We hosted family for a weekend in Big Bay. This location was absolutely wonderful. There was ample space, amazing views and the amenities were top notch. This home has everything you would want for your home away from home. The best was the sounds, Lake Superior gently rolling in the background. Capture the time to enjoy the home, the beach and the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We can’t wait to welcome you back soon. Cheers, Erin and Topher
We had an excellent stay celebrating a 60th birthday. Erin was super responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. She even helped us arrange surprise cupcakes from a local baker upon our arrival! The house had everything we needed and was tastefully decorated. We made it into Big Bay every night for a treat at Huron Mountain Ice Cream - Yum. Last of all, the beach and the lake were AMAZING. We spent lots of time on and in the water each day! Thanks, and we'd book again in a heartbeat!
Our 3 generation family stayed at this roomy and comfortable beach house. This house is better than the photos depict with a nice size deck, and beach side property. We had ample space for 10 adult family members and the kitchen space and amenities worked well for us. But the beach, THE BEACH was incredible, all sand and perfect depth for swimming. Not heavily trafficked it seemed almost private. Erin was so helpful and responsive to all our questions. The neighborhood is lovely and although many houses are close-together the privacy is maintained. We brought our boats and the access about 1 mile down the road was super convenient( fishing was fantastic!) there are also great hiking trails about 25 miles away and Marquette about 40 minutes. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s over the last 20 years and this is one of our favorites!
We booked this stay as a surprise 40th birthday gift for our sister - it turned out to be a surprise gift to all of us!! The house is beautiful, we were speechless when we first walked in. The kitchen is big and bright against the backdrop of the beach, which is literally steps away. The couches and beds are *very* comfortable and the space was more than enough for us 5 adults and a pup.
'Pet friendly' is an understatement. The house includes a pet bed, dog toys, a dog run, even some extra dog treats in the cabinet.
We have stayed at many Airbnbs as a family, and never have we stayed at one as hospitable as this. Every basic tool was available in the house and there was even food, drinks, and snacks for us to help ourselves to. Our hosts were available immediately when we had some questions during our stay, we felt completely taken care of.
I cant find enough great things to say about this property. The house, the hosts, the views - its a 10/10 in every aspect and we are already planning our next stay!
This was the perfect spot for a family vacation! As someone who grew up coming to Big Bay and swimming on Squaw Beach, I’m always excited to share the experience with my own kids. We also had my nieces along, and all of our kids made amazing memories this weekend. The house was spotless and had tons of amenities-not every house rental has towels/spices/etc available, but Skyfall did. Not to mention beautiful finishes everywhere. Lots of games and books, this was perfect for a family (or 2!!). The beds were super comfortable-another rare find in rental properties!! My only 2 suggestions are to have a grill available (there is a small portable one in the garage, but cooking for 9 people on that wasn’t worth the hassle), and also the property is listed as having a hot tub-there is not one that we saw anywhere (there’s a platform that maybe used to have one?) Anyway, those 2 things are not enough to skip this gorgeous place. It is beyond comfortable and the beach is perfect. Kids can walk out so far because the water is shallow for a long way out. Neighbors were all very friendly. Erin was a very communicative host, and I would absolutely stay again! Thank you for a glorious UP weekend!
My sister's family and my family rented this place and it was AMAZING! The owners are awesome about responding quickly to any questions you may have. The inside was VERY clean and spacious. And the beds were so comfy! We all slept great and commented on getting the same ones at home.
You can't beat Lake Superior right out the door. The kids used paddle boards in the water for hours. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Sandcastles, yard games and whiffle ball were all enjoyed in the sand. So. Much. Fun.
We watched the sunset and had campfires every night. During the day we did hiking adventures in the Big Bay area. Marquette had an awesome 4th of July celebration we attended. We could have not have asked for a better week and location. After seeing our snapchats and pictures several family members and friends have already asked us to send the link to them for next summer. Don't wait to book this property. It is truly a gem. Thanks to Erin and Toper for everything!
So many fun memories were made with the kids.

Thank you Courtney! We were thrilled to host you and the family for Fourth of July week. We loved that you were able to take the stand up paddle board out and make such special memories together. Thanks again and come back soon! (Hint hint - the Fall colors are gorgeous and the snowmobiling is good too 😊)
