Wine trail trip.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at the cabin. It is the perfect place for a weekend away. Convenient location and the perfect view. We will continue to come back for our annual trip.

We will be back!

This was a gem of a find! Kelly was an amazing host and gave us so much great information to help make our weekend. We hiked Giant City and Garden of the Gods, hit the wineries and breweries (go to Scratch in Ana!), hit up Boo Castle Park, and enjoyed lots of family/hot tub time at the cabin. The view is worth it alone. We will absolutely be back.

Christmas getaway

We love to getaway between the holidays to relax from all the demands the season brings. This cabin was the perfect spot! We enjoyed the hot tub, binged movies and enjoyed food in nearby Cobdin and Carbondale.

Great location and view!

Everything was great! If you’re going on the wine trail, this is the perfect place. It is right in the middle of the wineries, restaurants, and other activities. We’ve stayed here twice, once in each cabin and it was great both times. Both cabins have a great view of the hilly landscape.

Girls trip

Great location for our girls trip to Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. We had a great time and the house was perfect in size and location. 4 of us stayed in cabin 2. The hot tub and fire pit were highlights.

Getaway in S Illinois

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in January 2025. The power went out a couple of times but the host was very responsive and took care of it as fast as she could. The view was awesome and we enjoyed the hot tub. The 2 story living was nice and we used the kitchen to cook some traditional polish meals. We were able to go to Mass in Cobden just a few minutes away.

Short getaway

Just 2 friends wanting to visit. The place had wonderful views through the back windows or upper decks. Space was not wasted and everything we needed was provided. The place was clean and cutely decorated.

Relaxation

We really enjoyed our stay at your property. Great views of the rolling hills and vistas. Enjoyed visiting the Cross on the hill and experiencing the Wine Trail. We hadn't stayed in that part of the State before and given the chance, we will be back to explore more.

Relaxing birthday getaway

The cabin was exactly as described and more. The pictures do no justice to the views there. The owner even brought a brand new card table and chairs to the cabin after my mother was chatting with her. The cabin is close to a ton of excellent trails, wineries, and activities. If you have a little, there is a fantastic new playground in Anna where you’ll need to go for gas/full grocery store

Amazing weekend

We came to the cabin for a relaxing girls weekend. The cabin was clean and had beautiful views. The location was great. Very close to the wine trails. Everything we could have needed for the weekend was in the cabin. The host was easy to work with and answered all of our questions before the trip. We are already planning our next trip

This property was fantastic for a quick getaway for old friends getting together to reconnect!

The property owners had phenomenal and incredibly quick communication! Outstanding!!! Could use a bit more “niceties” (like bar soap in bathrooms, more silverware and kitchen/eating/ place settings available and more organized,) to knock it out of the park! We loved the access to trail and the serenity of the setting! Communication was FANTASTIC! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! Great place to catch up with old friends!
