Our beautiful 2 bedroom / 3 bathroom 1900 sf condo (with covered terraces) is located right on the beach in Paraiso del Mar Resort in La Paz. The condo looks straight at the Sea of Cortez. 50-meter infinity pool, 2 hot tubs and 8-mile long beach create a one-of-a-kind experience in a completely safe environment - no unauthorised guests admitted to the penninsula. Each bedroom and the living room have their own terrace. Watch dolphins swim by while having meals on the terrace. Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops or come down to eat in our Survivor Pool Bar and Restaurant. You can even eat in in the pool - there is a swim-up bar! Guests rave about their delicious food and cocktails; fish is caught and prepared daily. They can prepare your own catch too! Private dinners in your condo are also available.

CONDO: Two large master suites each have a King bed and their own bathroom. Full kitchen, 10-ft ceilings, travertine floors and granite countertops. It is beautifully furnished and decorated in warm Mexican colors.

ON-SITE AMENITIES: beach, pool, spa, pool bar with tasty food, golf course and restaurant, tennis and pickleball courts, golf course, fitness facility, free bicycles on property, kayaking, sand volleyball court

WATER
We provide an initial 5-gallon jug of drinking water, and you can buy on-site if you need more (we have a foldable cart to transport the jug). Our tap water comes from the desal plant and is safe to drink. It can be boiled for complete assurance.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: Espiritu Santo Island (accessible by boat), whale watching, swim with sea lions, on-site boat rentals

GETTING TO PARAISO DEL MAR: Paraiso del Mar is across the channel from La Paz downtown and has a water taxi service that runs back and forth between Marina Cortez and the resort. The gate to our shuttle boat is between two restaurants - El Anzuelo and Cafe Capri. The boat runs every 30 minutes between the hours of 7 am and 11:30 pm. It's around 8 minutes to cross the channel and then you take a shuttle to get to the condo - another 3-min ride. It's about 25-30 min trip from La Paz Marina to the condo, and the rides are highly enjoyable and complimentary. After hours shuttles are available and can be prearranged for a fee.

Great Beach but Unit was over Hyped

The beach is stunning; the boat transport & bikes were excellent. The pool restaurant was delicious as was the Hole 19 by the golf course which was good value and well kept course. However, the furniture in the unit was uncomfortable - painful to sit in the evening and the bugs made sitting outside impossible. The couch and chairs were outdoor-like & the deck furniture as pictured was replaced with hard plastic chairs. One deck had only a coffee table, no chairs. Kitchen needs more pans, pasta strainer, microwave cover etc. Nothing on the walls at all! The water in the master shower takes forever to heat with low pressure and when we went to use the bath tub near the end of our stay, no plug! The pool was nice looking but too cold. The store was advertised as bread, canned goods but sells only sugary snacks - our contact was helpful in providing info on the market and the town stores but it's a hassle to go into town for all your food. The store could take orders instead?. The worst was the pool - we had people vaping, bringing glass bottles of beer, and had an unfriendly dog barking. Security did nothing and I had to ask the people directly to stop vaping and they were rude. Others brought boom boxes and played loud music. This was after a 4 hour owner's meeting that shut down the restaurant and bar on our last day. On the Friday night, people played loud music and partied until 1:30 am. We had smokers staying next door so the smoke came in. Disappointing.

Property was really nice and everything we needed provided. Fun location. The only slight negative is getting food. Hard to shop and take much food on the shuttle and only 1 restaurant option in the entire peninsula. But with some advance planning we definitely recommend.

Excellent communication, easy self Check in, very clean condo and property. Condo is very large and spacious for 2 couples. Kitchen was well stocked. Large container of drinking water supplied. Taxi boat and shuttle to property was easy. Views from every window, front and back door! Loved our stay we will be back!

Perfect place to stay

The property is beautiful with wonderful access to the beach. Condos are set up perfectly with all condos having a view of the ocean but still have privacy. Restaurant is delicious. The staff are all helpful and courteous. Van drivers are always on time. We will definitely stay again.

Great place to relax

Beautiful condo complex on an amazing stretch of beach. Nice pool and a hot tub that is actually hot! A rare find in Mexico. The unit is very clean, spacious and has everything you need to cook meals. Spacious balconies and a great outside table to eat your meals while looking at the sea. The ferries over are always on time and we saw dolphins on a few trips. The bikes to get back to your condo are a great touch ( there is a shuttle but we enjoyed the ride). The restaurant on-site had limited hours while we were there but when it is opened the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to relax. It’s a quiet, peaceful place.

The whole experience was awesome. We had a great view, spacious living quarters and great accommodations. The ferry and shuttles were easy to catch each time we went to town and back. The quite atmosphere was splendid (it is the off season) along with the views we got while kayaking. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. Loved it!!!

A long way from corn fields

The condo itself is absolutely beautiful and is in the perfect location in the middle building. Our view from the terraces was spectacular. Everything we needed was furnished from the kitchen to linens, tv, and even shampoo in the shower. People were friendly and helpful. The vans and ferry boats were always on time with helpers on the dock for luggage and groceries. Even the dolphins often escorted us on our ride back and forth. We definitely plan to come again.

Fabulous property! We had a great time.

We loved our stay in this beautiful condo and are figuring when we can come back. The condo was lovely and big, with comfortable beds and furniture, a great tv and very well equipped, including beach towels, washer/ dryer and air conditioning. The view from the balcony is amazing. Upon our arrival, the property manager met us and we went across on the complimentary little ferry which is a short trip and runs every half hour. There is a shuttle van to transport everyone to their units or houses. Bicycles are also there for free use (5 minute bicycle ride). Tennis, pickleball and golf are available and we enjoyed a round of golf with a cart on the desert style course with some ocean views. The pool is huge and has a swim up bar and light meals are available .This is a great location for exploring La Paz, taking tours and all the staff were very friendly, helping us with our learning of Spanish. For travellers coming into San Jose de Cabo airport, we used Ecobaja Tours for the ride to and from La Paz and their air conditioned 20 seat vans were excellent and on time. The bus station in La Paz is only maybe a 10 minute walk from the ferry dock at Marina Cortez for the condo. We also enjoyed whaleshark swimming and sealion swimming tours with Punta Baja tours whom we would definitely recommend. All in all a terrific time.

Awesome stay and Boat Rides both ways

It took our breath away-- clean, open and airy 2 bedrooms and Living Room/Kitchen area each with a deck furnished with nice tables and comfortable chairs looking to the ocean, the palms, the swimming pool and hammocks in the palm trees. We heard a variety of birds singing in the trees close to the unit and there were bikes to ride, glass showers, a kitchen well appointed, excellent management, easy to contact and work with. Condo is right in the middle of the complex with easy access and sun and shade just right for sitting on the deck all day. Got ice creams in the little shop on site and a lot of great information about what to see in LaPaz. It truly must be like paradise. We were there in May, it was quiet and peaceful all the time.

Beautiful and Peaceful!

The condo was much nicer than the pictures show! The building is fairly new and very clean well maintained. The grounds are beautiful. The location, well there is no better location! The condo is very large, we will be back with my children for sure! Everything you need for is provided for you. The people working at the resort are VERY friendly. I have found that the people of La Paz overall are so nice and welcoming! Thank you!

A Little Slice of Paradise

This condo probably has the best view on the property. Located on the fourth floor overlooking the pool, sea and mountains in LaPaz, it is stunning. The condo is very comfortable and has every convenience of home. Because it is a ferry ride over to the mainland of LaPaz, and then a cab ride to the store, be sure to stock up on provisions. There is a very small store located on the property but it only carries snacks and such. We only ate at the pool bar twice because we found it to be a little pricey so we enjoyed exploring restaurants in the day and eating at the condo in the evening. If you are lucky on one of your ferry rides you might even see a pod of dolphins, and if you are searching for a photo of the perfect sunset (like I am), you just might find it on the beach in front of the condo.

Exelente, mi esposa, mis 2 hijos y yo pasamos unas vacaciones exelentes, el complejo de condominios, la herradura donde nos hospedamos muy bonita, una alberca y areas verdes Exelentes, la playa parece una alberca mas practicamente sin olas, el condominio C403 perfecto con todo lo que necesitamos, muy, muy amplio y agradable, La sra. Maude exelente persona, los choferes de la van para ir y venir al muelle a tomar el pequeno barco que transporta a uno a la Marina muy atentos, la pequena tienda, surtida con lo indispensable, como botanas, refresco, etc. para pasar una bonita tarde en la alberca, en la cd, de La Paz, muy buenos restaurantes de mariscos. en general como lo dije antes todo fue exelente, y el condominio C403 altamente RECOMENDABLE.

Awesome Views

Very spacious 2 bedroom 3 full bathroom condo. Very well stocked kitchen, they provide toiletries and they even had beach stuff. Very nice place with infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Crystal clear warm water private beach only a few steps from the pool. Poolside restaurant/bar has some very delicious food and the people are amazingly polite and very attentive. Transportation services are always on time also very friendly and very helpful staff. The only thing I didn't particularly like having small children with us was having to be shuttled from Paraiso del Mar to the Mainland If it would've only been adults it would've been no problem as the boat ride is enjoyable. The boats are always on schedule and also have great staff.. Not much to do onsite other than pool/beach for the kids. Although they do offer kayaks and paddle boards but they were always occupied (I believe they only have 2 of each). There is also a very mini mart onsite that sells snacks & drinks (kind of like a liquor store but way smaller) Elena the owner has very good communication and Maude the property manager is very helpful and very nice she welcomed us at Marina Cortez and got us to the condo, she even helped us with our luggage . Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I think we would definitely come back without the kids. :)

Amazing Spring Break!

The view from this property to the sea is priceless! This is a very well maintained and equipped vacation home. Very private, feels like an island with very easy access to downtown restaurants via a ship shuttle. On this beach sea turtles come to lay their eggs, and you see dolphins from the private dock. We loved it, staff was very nice and property Manager Maude very knowledgeable about the area and how to get around. Don't miss swimming with the whale sharks! Will come back.

Great place for Destination Wedding

Great for 2 couples with the possibility of 3. 2 spacious master bedrooms with bathroom suite. Great kitchen and living room/dining area. 3 private balconies. Great view of the water, manicured gardens and pool. The best poolside restaurant with gourmet fish to firestone pizza. The shuttle and launch made it easy to get around from the condos to the Villa where our daughters wedding took place. The elevator made it easy for my elderly parents to get up to the condo. I highly recommend this property, nice, clean and relaxing. Would consider this property again.

Wonderful Vacation

My wife and I spent 4 weeks at this condo. The place was very comfortable, with a fantastic view of the sea. One thing I especially enjoyed was that you could hear the surf. We slept with the doorwalls open so that we could listen to the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. The pool was quite large and never crowded. It was great for swimming laps. Both Elena, the owner, and Maude, the property manager, were very helpful. I would recommend this property without reservation.

Beautiful La Paz and Paraiso del Mar

We had a wonderful time here! The condo has an amazing view and is well appointed. Excellent communication with owner and outstanding on-site manager (Maude). We swam with whale sharks, snorkeled with sea lions and enjoyed the beach. The transportation staff at the resort were amazing with door to boat service, always friendly and on time. The pool food was excellent, and the hot tub was fun! We would definitely return to this condo and resort. We did not rent a car as taxi's are plentiful and very inexpensive. My sister did rent a car and left it parked just outside the marina area for free.

My husband and I traveled to La Paz a few times and fell in love with the city, its people and the wondrous marine world of the Sea of Cortez. We are very lucky to have been able to acquire a condo in Paraiso del Mar – a very unique resort. We enjoy traveling to all three our vacation destinations, buying stuff for our vacation rentals, renting out and making new friends.
