We invite you to come & play on the Central Coast and experience a truly unique home. Get caught up on your work while your kids enjoy the large playground! However you decide to play, we look forward to hosting you soon!

One of the best features of our property is the large PLAYGROUND* that's fun for kids and adults alike! You won't need to entertain your kids here, as there's plenty to do! Although we're continuously changing things, the main features of the playground are: trampoline, play fort, ball pit, swings & relaxation teepee.

If you're kids are homeschooling or you're working remotely, we're a great choice for you're vacation. Work or do your Zoom calls in our art shed while your kids play in our fully fenced playground!

We're in the City of Arroyo Grande, in a residential neighborhood, two blocks off the main thoroughfare called Grand Ave. The nearest beach access is at the end of Grand Ave; 2 miles from the house or a 5 minute drive. Downtown Pismo Beach & the pier is a 10 minute drive/ 4 miles away. We're conveniently located and within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee houses, restaurants, convenience stores, and parks.

The Boathouse sits approximately 43 ft. behind the main house at the back of our property. THIS IS A SHARED PROPERTY. When you enter, you'll walk through the red gate, up our driveway, and back to the left of our garage where you'll see the guest house.

Please Note: The Boathouse and attached patio with fire pit are your PRIVATE accommodations. The Playground, Play Fort, & Art Shed are COMMON SPACE, shared with our family. We have one 8 year old boy and two small dogs.

The 330 sq ft. Boathouse is a studio that has one queen bed, full kitchen, full bath with tub shower, and one full sized couch sleeper. It's been well designed to make maximum use of space and recently remodeled with a nautical theme. We have a portable crib for infants and can add a cot if someone doesn't want to share a bed. We also have a hot outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. When you book with us you get the Boathouse, patio with fire pit and outdoor shower for your private lodging, plus use of the art shed and fenced playground which are common areas.

We've tried to provide everything you need for a convenient trip. The kitchen is equipped with cooking tools, dishes, flatware, blender, etc., so you can prepare your own meal if you like. We provide coffee, assorted teas, creamers, sugar, assorted snacks, and even supplies for S'mores! We have beach towels, beach chairs, sunshade, and sand toys for your use and provide basic toiletries too. There's a washer/dryer in case you're on a long trip and need to catch up on some laundry (we even provide the detergent)! The Boathouse has both heating and air conditioning. The beds (1 queen & 1 full) are high quality memory foam mattresses that provide a very comfortable night's rest. Play by day at the local beaches or wineries and roast s'mores by the gas fire pit at night on the private patio.

Our space is best suited for couples, small families, or 2 singles. Families of 5 will be considered upon request.

Dear Guests,

-Please remember that the Playground is a shared space with our 10 year old son and our dogs. This is noted as 'common space' on the listing description.

The patio with fire pit that's adjacent to the Boathouse is exclusively for our guests' use so there is still an outdoor area that is private for each stay.

***Please note the playground hours are 9 am to 7 pm. These are the hours that work for our family and neighbors so people aren't disturbed. If you use the playground outside these hours please keep voices to a minimum. At all times please avoid excessive screaming and yelling as this will may our neighbor to report our listing to the city.***

Also, our son is currently at school M-F, 8 am- 3 pm. If there is any issue with sharing the playground, please let us know and we can work something out. But, guests usually have plenty of time to use it solely themselves or enjoy our son playing simultaneously.

**Our small dogs Squirt & Charlotte also enjoy the backyard, so please consider whether your family is comfortable being around dogs or not. We don't want to be asked to put our dogs inside.
