Miss Jean was wonderful! The house was clean and very well stocked for our stay. We loved the location and quietness of the neighborhood! There were ducks and geese. The porch overlooking the lake was wonderful. Was a wonderful get-a-way for a girls weekend and shopping in Canton for trades day! Would definately recommend this location and stay again!
Myself and a group of girlfriends stayed here for my 40th birthday weekend getaway. Its beautiful and relaxing. Ms. Jean was so acommadating and possibly the sweetest lady ever. She had everything you could ever need for your getaway.
We loved our stay! Our family really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the property, inside and out. The back porch and yard offers beautiful views of the lake that we enjoyed each afternoon and morning we were there.
We brought our clothes and groceries, everything else we needed was available, and much more. Thank you for making our "weekend getaway" a great experience!
Jean was delightful and answered all of our questions. It is a gated community, so she met us promptly to let us in and we were able to use card keys during our stay. The house is just as described with a gorgeous lake and we enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoing the view. We will stay here again!
Four good friends from school in a time and place far far away chose to spend our annual Spring retreat at this beautiful lake house. Calm and back to nature. Lovely house. Just a dream of a place to regroup and enjoy life.
Our family stayed here for our son’s 40th birthday on Labor Day weekend. The home was super clean, located on the north end of Callendar Lake.
The morning sunrise was beautiful as we watched the Blue Herons and ducks in their habitat. We forgot all about the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Everyone was so thankful to have this time together at Jean’s beautiful home. We are already planning our next visit!
Spent Christmas with a few of the Family and enjoyed it so much. Jean was a Wonderful Host, the house was decorated so pretty and was very warm and inviting. She met us and let us know everything we needed to know about how things worked. Even though it turned cold and rainy, we made use of all the games she has and still had a good time .Have already started making plans to go back.
This property was awesome. We had 11 kids and 4 Adults in this spacious, beautiful home. Everyone had plenty of room for cooking, playing games and spending Christmas. The home was decorated beautifully, which made it perfect. This property is located on a huge lakefront lot, with a great view out of every window. It's in between Canton, Tyler, and Athens. We visited each town and found everything we wanted to do and see. The host was very attentive and handled issues quick and efficiently. We will definitely be staying here again, hopefully in the summer when we could enjoy the lake and kayaking and outdoor activities.
