This sweet vintage home was renovated and is ideal for your beach getaway. The home is located in the historic district of St. Joe and is an easy walk to Silver Beach on Lake Michigan. Guests love the location! The downtown area is just a few blocks away, along with Krasl Art Center, Curious Kid's Museum and St Joe's Public Library all an easy walk and the beach!

The house has a large living room with separate dining room area. The bathroom was just completely renovated with new flooring and new vanity. The kitchen has been gutted with new cabinets, counter, appliances, etc. It is fully equipped with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes/classes, etc. There are two bedrooms currently with two queen mattresses. NOTE: currently, the back bedroom is being enlarged/renovated. Photos will be updated soon. There is an eat-in kitchen. The living room/dining room combination has a dinning table along with living room furniture. There is a washer and dryer and central air-conditioning. There is also a front porch and a private back yard with outdoor furniture. Fenced yard. The home is nicely furnished with art and a small hand painting on the floor. Mostly hardwood floors.

Swimming, sunbathing, walk to town, Kid's Curious Muesum, playground on the beach, art classes at Krasl Art Center, festivals, shops, restaurants, wine tasting, state parks near by, walking trail, bike riding, library, beach volleyball, Kayak rentals, charter fishing, golfing.

Historic downtown St. Joe is a short walk away. The town hosts a variety of festivals, art fairs, antique shows throughout the summer months. There is plenty to due in town and Lake Michigan is a short walk away.

The house was so comfy and adorably decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Everything very clean. Fenced back yard was great for my dog. So close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Owner was great with communications. We would definitely rent again.

This house was absolutely adorable and the host was very sweet accommodating my little special needs pups. My pups all loved the yard and we even did a doggy beach day! It was very comfortable and cozy. And the location could NOT be beat! It was about a half mile walk to restaurants and we were able to pop in and out with ease to take care of my precious fur babies. I will Definitely be booking this wonderful place again!

Easy walk to town, lots to do even in the off-season. Nice to have access to a kitchen, laundry, and living room while on vacation :)

Perfect location for a beach trip!

We chose this rental for the location and it was PERFECT! Home is in a great neighborhood of historic homes just a short walk to Silver Beach (about 1/3 mile from the house to a spot on the beach) and to downtown shops and restaurants. We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Great Place!

We came in for a quick weekend with family in the area and our stay was fantastic. Very close walk to the beach/pier and to downtown St Joes. Lots of stuff to do. The house itself was exactly as listed in VrBO

Sunflower Cottage: Cozy & Cool

We had a wonderful stay here in this homey yet artsy cottage in a beautiful historic neighborhood. The gorgeous beach is an easy walk and the charming downtown is, too. Many local restaurants and shops to enjoy. Big fenced yard for our little dog, too! Unqualified recommendation. We hope to return soon!

This house is perfectly located in St Joe. Maybe 10 minute walk to downtown. Many restaurants in walking distance. Probably 15 minutes to the beach. Centrally located for driving. When I arrived there was confusion about the door lock. The owner promptly called me back and walked me through opening the door. There is a 2 car garage for easy parking. Especially nice on weekends when street parking can be difficult to find. The neighborhood is quiet. The neighbors that I saw were very friendly. A few complaints are the kitchen sink was backing up. I could not find the switch for the garbage disposal to clear the drain. This is should have been corrected before my arrival. However, an emergency plumber was found and fixed the disposal. Another nuisance was a smoke detector going off somewhere in the basement. When I finally found the said device it was on a shelving unit. Not on the ceiling. All in all, I am renting the house again for next year. The owner is very professional and pleasant to work with. She responds in a very timely manner to texts. Come stay here you will love it.

Perfect Location

Such a cute cottage within walking to the beach (pretty ice-covered lighthouse and frozen waves) and Amtrak station. Very easy to communicate with Jennifer who was flexible with our last-minute booking. I’d definitely return.

Sunny Sunflower

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Our Hostess was attentive to ensure our stay was perfect. The property and the neighborhood are charming and a short walk to downtown and the beach. The home was exactly as it was listed and delightful. Our 4yr enjoyed the childs area with a small table and chairs with books,toys and games. We are planning our next visit soon.
