Northeast, a neighbourhood in Washington, is home to this holiday home. Smithsonian Institution and Washington Navy Yard are cultural highlights, and some of the area's popular attractions include National Air and Space Museum and National Museum of Natural History. Check out an event or a game at Capital One Arena, and consider making time for Smithsonian's National Zoo, a top attraction not to be missed.
New and clean with all the appropriate appliances for a short or longer stay. The host was hospitable and friendly. Good location for seeing the capital sites with just a short drive.
The place was perfect for a visit to my oldest who lives in the same neighborhood. There’s a great Denny’s around the corner for breakfast and all the sites are a short Uber trip away!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Host was more than accommodating for my dog and I, and the property was very nice! The fenced in yard was perfect for the dog and the area it’s in. Will definitely be booking again!
The host was very communicative and wonderful to work with. The property was clean, cute, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was a bit more run down than we expected based on the photos, though the affordable price point should have given us some indication of that. Our biggest challenge was the size of the space. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living area were all much smaller than expected. The bathroom had very little counter space, and we were constantly maneuvering around luggage in the bedrooms throughout the week. There also wasn’t really a place to sit and eat, and the seating in the living room only comfortably accommodated three people, with the fourth needing to sit on the ottoman.Overall, it was a very nice place — just much smaller than anticipated.

Hi Dana, thank you for your review and feedback. I also wanted to provide a little context regarding the neighborhood appearance during your stay. Washington Gas recently completed work throughout the area and tore up many of the front yards on the block, which is why you may have noticed the hay and landscaping conditions outside. We’ve been waiting for the grass to fully regrow and appreciate your patience while the neighborhood recovers.
I’m also sorry to hear the space felt limited for your group of four. We do try to maximize comfort by providing additional portable dining tables and chairs, which are stored in the closet for guest use. We appreciate the feedback and will continue looking for ways to make the space feel even more comfortable for larger groups.
Thank you again for staying with us, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Had a nice and quiet place to stay while we explored DC. Plenty of parking right in front of the unit. Highly recommended place and host, will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was only a 12-15 Uber ride from the Ronald Regan Building. The property was quaint and clean—a super quiet neighborhood. I definitely would stay here again!

Conveniently located and loved we could walk to anything that we needed, including to the Capitol, Target, and Dennys right behind the property. Also on bus lines.
Good location to sightsee in Washington. Clean upgraded functional home with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 baths. Quiet neighborhood and reasonable walking distance to restaurants and a large Safeway. A Dennys just around the corner. Working with owner very easy. Great value for the money
Owner was an amazing and great communicator. All my emails and questions were promptly answered, and my concerns addressed quickly as well. Great place and convenient to get to and from the airport and other locations around DC.
Overall at great location and place to stay. Two critiques would be that there's no place to sit down and eat a meal. The other is that the living room couch was uncomfortable.

Great if you just need a place to sleep
This place is small, but the beds are comfortable. There is sleeping for 4 people but only seating for 1 or 2 in the living area so it was hard to have meals or watch TV as a group. Missing a few basics like a blow dryer and coffee machine but only 5 minute walk to bus station and two minutes to Denny's for a quick bite.
We had a very nice stay at this property. The unit is easy to get in and out from which works really well when you are travelling with kids (10 & 7). There is a breakfast joint right behind the unit which is super convenient in the mornings. It's a bit further away from all the touristy stuff but that's actually ok because it's quieter and less crowded. It was fun to experience DC vibes in this neighborhood.

Short DC stay
Overall for the price and need for two beds and bathrooms this was ideal. The unit was clean and neighbors friendly and helpful. Furniture for sitting area was not ideal and linens need an upgrade. People from out of town should know it’s a neighborhood going through transition from some older unkept homes to young professionals who are able to renovate and make upgrades.
