A good, functional ski house, with plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Check in was easy and host helpful. Jacuzzi was great and very large! Tons of parking too. However, some the beds could use new mattresses- some were very doughy and one was so hard that our teens had to sleep on the couches. If you are ok with an unusual lay out and just need a place to stay to ski, then this works. The small kitchen is on the lower level but the living room area is on the upper, making it a little disjointed. We had a great experience regardless.
EXCELLENT! If I could give more than 5 stars for some aspects I would
Our multi-generational family (grandparents, parents, and kids ages 7 to 16) had an absolutely amazing stay at this Vermont house! The property was perfect for our large group, with a great bedding setup and plenty of cozy spaces, including a wonderful second-floor sitting area and fireplace. The check-in process was seamless, and the property manager was incredibly accessible, answering all our questions and providing great resources. The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Mount Snow, making it easy to come and go multiple times a day. Restaurants were also close by, with The Last Chair being a favorite! While we didn’t have time to use the hot tub, it looked fantastic. We only wish we had more time to enjoy everything this home had to offer. Highly recommend for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing Vermont getaway!

Summer Stay- Nice Location, Fun Home
We stayed for a weekend in August. All family, all adults aged 20s to senior citizens.
The layout is somewhat quirky with the eat-in kitchen downstairs and the living room upstairs. So the eating area and lounging area is separated. The hot tub was a big bonus. One thing that was difficult and unexpected was that the stairs from the driveway that are pictured had been ripped out by the time we arrived. This was tough and a little dangerous because we had our parents there who are elderly. We were not warned about that, but luckily nothing bad happened.
The house is in a great location. You can walk your dogs down the road. You can even walk to a few dining establishments if you want.
The backyard is cool with a few spots to sit and hang out. There is a plastic axe-throwing set which is fun.

Thank you for your feedback Evelyn. We are in the process of improving the driveway and entryway and I apologize for forgetting to mention the steps and impacting your stay. I am glad everything went ok.
About the host

Red Chalet is a special place and a retreat for our family that we like to share with our friends and other families. We bought the house in late 2022 as a way for us to get away from the NYC where we live full-time and into the Green Mountains of Vermont to ski, enjoy nature and the out-doors.
About our Family We're a family of 5, including our rescue pup, Bowie. We love traveling and all things outdoor.
