A beautiful home away from home. The perfect place to host my family from the area. From the cozy living room, big enough for our football fans to watch the playoffs, to the game room filled with all its amenities. Easy check in and out. I definitely recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Clean, plenty of space. Loved the updated kitchen, that has all your needs! Our favorite place is our group of friends and family enjoyed catching up on the beautiful large front porch!! Nick the host was also very responsive on any questions I had.
A lovely property and home, in beautiful condition. Plenty of space for 9 of us and the covered front porch was a great place for morning coffee! A real find, and just a short walk to the lake.
Great place to meet with our family. Can walk to the lake. 5 bedrooms, 3 well appointed. 1st floor bedroom tight for space, double bed room could use dresser. Comfortable beds! Extra hooks in bedrooms would be helpful. Kitchen well stocked. Love the front porch! Back enclosed porch great for the boys to stay. They have a queen size blow up mattress that came in handy.

this was tone a celebration for my 80th birthday.. I did not get to attend but my kids said it was a great place. maybe next year.
The listing was as described. The lake is a lovely and a short five minute walk. The front porch is lovely. In spite of the home being on a busy street, the porch was the perfect place to have morning coffee and watch the birds and chipmunks.
We stayed here for five nights- a multigenerational family vacation. There were eight of us and we had plenty of space. There was also ample parking for our 3 cars and boat. The house has lots of charm but also modern features that made for a comfortable stay. Among our favorite features were the huge front porch and swing. The yard has very mature, beautiful trees and we were close to many restaurants and Conesus Lake. Communication was quick and helpful. Would definitely recommend Nick and John’s lovely home!!
Spacious, Modern, and Perfect for Groups! We just completed an incredible stay at this VRBO property, and it exceeded every expectation. This is easily a five-star experience, and we would book it again in a heartbeat! The house itself is incredibly spacious and comfortable. It felt like every member of our group had room to spread out and relax without ever feeling crowded. The level of comfort truly made it feel like a home away from home. The common areas were exceptional. The kitchen is beautifully modern, well-equipped, and was a delight to cook in. We especially loved how many options there were for gathering—both inside the home and in the fantastic outdoor spaces. Whether we were sharing a meal or just relaxing with a book, there was always the perfect spot.A massive bonus was the converted garage, which serves as a beautifully executed recreation area. It was a fantastic space for evening fun and added so much value to our stay.If you are looking for a roomy, comfortable, and feature-rich rental perfect for a family or group, look no further. This property is truly top-tier!
Our trip was for the 2024 Eclipse but we enjoyed the convenience of our location to enjoy Niagara Falls and a fishing trip to Lake Ontario.
Thank you 😊
Perfect spot for what we were looking for. We were out to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from nearby SUNY Geneseo, so it allowed us to bring the whole family and relax in a comfortable setting. Pretty much, everything we needed was there. We were able to order in from some local restaurants.
Very easy checking in and dealing with the owners.
Thanks again for everything!!!
We felt welcome on entering this intriguing 1865 home because of its cleanness and the towels folded nicely on each of the beds...the snacks provided and the capacious fridge with ice maker etc. the large windows in each room, with great views...sitting out on the front porch and walking out to the gazebo and pond...Our grandchildren loved the playroom porch and all the wonderful toys including the play store with food and money. We also loved the swing on the big tree outside and the lake and beautiful park within walking distance.
We have stayed in 3 other rentals in this area, and this is the best by far. The location is convenient and the house and furnishings are comfortable. The front porch is pleasant, even with the nearby traffic noise. The house itself was quite sound proof, and we had no trouble sleeping in the comfortable king-sized bed upstairs. As should be expected with an older home, the bathrooms and bedrooms are small, but serviceable. We had a slight problem with one of the showerheads and received an immediate response from the owners.Other renters might want to know that behind the house is a rented apartment of some kind, and the renters use the same driveway as those renting the house. But plenty of parking is reserved just for those renting the house. However, be aware that the backyard is not private -- but the renters are quiet and keep to themselves. It is a quiet backyard, and we enjoyed watching the rabbits and groundhog family that live in the backyard! All in all, we really liked this home and plan to stay here the next time we return to the area. As I said, this is our 4th rental in the area, and there is no doubt in our minds that it is the BEST one for us!

It gave our family a good space for our graduation stay
We were in a good location to be able to reach RIT, Letchworth State Park, and grocery shopping. Ordered 3 Legged Pig BBQ for catering on Saturday and it was outstanding! We had enough parking for all 5 of our vehicles coming from several states. We had clean sheets and towels for our use, and were able to cook our meals after searching to find pots and pans that were disorganized and tucked way in the back of the cabinet. The listing says no pets, but this is a definite PETS WELCOME property. They have all the supplies even in the back porch and instructions in the welcome binder on the counter. If you must stay away from pet dander, this is important to know. Also be advised that all supplies are considered "starter" packs. Nothing is replenished during your visit. This is not typical of highly rated VRBOs I have rented in the past and caught us off guard. Responsiveness to our questions was slow or not at all, but we did get a reply that we could go to the back shed to get a new gas tank for the fireplace on the front porch that was empty when we arrived. The property would be much better if they planted noise-dampening shrubs near the road as the road noise is pretty bad. We were not able to enjoy the yard, pond, swing, or gazebo because the ground was waterlogged until our final day of our stay. But if you just need a landing spot to sleep at night, this place can definitely fill the bill!

Its normal at majorty or short term rentals to provide a starter pack of toilet paper etc not unlimited amounts. We also cannot control the weather. Dont believe this deserves anywhere near a 3 star review.
The mattresses were comfy and my request for extra blankets was more than met. Hot tub was bubbling when we got there and the host provided some water, snacks, and a well stocked kitchen with spices and lots of plates and bowls. Coffee maker did not work well but I brought my kettle so that wasn't an issue and when the downstairs toilet was causing issues, the maintenance man was very helpful.
We are a very close nit family and love to vacation together and figured why not jump into the vacation destination business too?
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because we fell in love with its charm and location. We all grew up coming to the Finger Lakes Region as kids and it really has a place in our hearts. This home is located close to Conesus Lake, tons of restaurants, breweries, wineries and family fun.
What makes this property unique
We love the front porch area for entertaining, the pond for relaxing and the overall size and charm of the place & hope you will see it as well. We have ample parking for boats and cars. We cannot wait to host your families stay with us at Lakeville Landing!
