I have WEEKLY rentals with check in on FRIDAY, SATURDAY, or SUNDAY at this 5 star Hawaiian destination. It is home to rain forests, lava sand beaches, misting waterfalls and the Marriott Kaua'i Beach Club. Designed in the style of a royal Hawaiian estate, this breathtaking resort stretches along scenic Kalapaki Beach where you can swim in crystal clear waters, splash in the spectacular 26,000-square-foot swimming pool and delight world-class amenities, such as golf, a lavish day spa and state-of-the-art fitness center. With spacious Kauai villas just steps from the beach, you can enjoy days spent relaxing on the sand, surfing or just listening to the rhythmic sounds of the ocean. But if relaxing turns to work, our Kauai villa accommodations offer convenient access to 8 meeting rooms, dedicated event planners, fax/printer services and overnight messenger service.

Here are the area's of the suite of a 1BR 2 bath

1. The studio. This is the living area portion with 1 bathroom and a queen Murphy bed in the living area & a kitchenette. It has its own entrance.
2. The bedroom and a 2nd bathroom. This also has its own entrance.

My add and rates listed are for the both portions mentioned above in garden view for a non holiday week. Ocean view and ocean front available at a additional cost.

Wonderful stay at the Marriott Vacation Club!

We stayed for a week at this property and had a wonderful time! While it is under some construction and seems to be transitioning to Royal Sonesta ownership, impact to us was pretty minor. Pros: ample room for our family of 3 in a 1bdrm, ocean view Friendly staff Comfortable beds Food options that we thought were good nearby:Jammin Banana coffee, Nola Grill, handful of food trucks all within walking distance Target/safeway nearby for supplies Free yoga and fitness center access Kauai Boys for surfing lessons! Cons: No room charge (might be a good thing) Not a ton of restaurants within walking distance Property needs a little facelift (Royal Sonesta part has it) Pool bar food is just ok and pricey Lower floors have an obstructed view-go above 5th Overall great stay and would come back!

Resort is beautiful. Great pool area with bar/restaurant/sushi bar. Pool has 5 different hot tubs. More dining options just a short walk down the beach away. Beach is nice in that it is really somewhat secluded and calmer on the more eastern edge with surf on the western side. The room was great we were in the small room with the murphy bed which was really all we needed and more. Has a small kitchenette with fridge/freezer/microwave/dishwasher. Bathroom/shower area good sized as well. I was on the island for a conference that rotates around the islands. When the conference is back in Kauai I will definitely go back and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Best location and resort on the island

My family has been coming to Kauai yearly for 15 years. We have stayed all over the island, in hotels, homes, condos, resorts, etc. The Marriott Kauai Beach club is by far the most convenient location for getting around the island and the resort itself is outstanding. The rooms are spacious enough for what we need, are updated, clean and maintained. The timeshares are convenient with kithenettes, irons, etc. BBQ grills are available right outside. The resort is beautiful. Kalapaki beach is a great all around beach with paddleboard, surfboard, kayak, etc. rentals right on the beach. Kukui's, Dukes and Café Portofino are outstanding restaurants within walking distance. More casual fare: Kalapaki Joe's, Feral Pig, Mariachi's, Bamboo Grill and others are a short walk. The resort offers many activities, a nice gym, beautiful walking trails nearby, golf courses, too much to name. The entire resort including pool, spas, gardens, Koi pond are immaculately kept. The resort is a gem and the rooms are comfortable. This is the best location if you want to head north to Princeville/ Hanalei or South to Koloa/Poipu or West to Waimea Canyon. You are never too far from anything.
