Weekend getaway

House was perfect for our family. Enjoyed fishing and crabbing at the dock. Short walk to the beach. House was clean and had everything we needed for a quick weekend beach trip.

Loving our Sunset time

We have been coming to Sunset beach for over 26 years. This was one of the most pleasant experiences, even though we had bad weather on two of our days. Looking forward to coming back soon!!!!

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

Such a wonderful place to get away to and feel at home. Our stay was in mid February so it seemed that we had the beach and island to ourselves. We will definitely be back. If your days are avaliable do not wait.

Nice home close to beach

Keith was very responsive. The house was cute and close to walk to the beach. Beach chairs and toys were an added bonus. And lots of little items in case you forgot toothpaste, shampoo, etc.

Little winter getaway

Perfect place for my husband and I to take a little break from the northern January weather. The house was clean, comfy and stocked with the necessities. 2 blocks walk to the beach and gorgeous sunrises, and the dock and back porch were great. It was off-season when we were there so we pretty much shared the entire island with 10 other people. Go to the west end to watch the sunset.

Awesome stay!

The only thing i wold have changed is the king size bed! It was to low and the pillows where not thick enough! There where no extra pillows. But the stay was awesome! Everything we needed was there! Maybe a larger grill! But the host stayed in communication when we messaged them! The property was clean! We needed 2 sets of keys, there was only one key.

First timers

This property has an excellent location on sunset beach. 5 minute walk over the dunes. I recommend bringing or renting some kind of shelter for the beach. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable as is the rest of the house. The screened in upper back porch overlooking the canal and the outdoor shower (private) were much used and appreciated. The property owner responded almost immediately when we had a few minor questions. All kitchen utensils and appliances worked fine with plenty of pots and pans. AC worked great. Enjoy!

Sunset canal house review

This was my 1st vrbo rental. Everything was awesome from the reservation to the exit home. This house is wonderful. This time of year was so quiet on the street. I took my 5 yr old fur baby & she was at home the entire time. Even taking her out in the middle of the nite, i felt safe. The beds were amazing!! Me & my sis slept great each nite. We cant wait to book another vacation at this place.

Comfortable, cozy and peaceful

My husband, my puppy and I loved our stay here! We had everything we needed and felt very much at home. The beds, the furniture - all really comfortable. We had a slight issue with the internet and the owner was really quick to respond and help fix it! We loved the screened porch and spent a lot of time there. We especially loved the access to the canal/s - we brought our own kayaks and were able to leave them them right on the dock. Every day we explored the marshes that the canals led us to! The walk to the beach was very easy, close by and beautiful - all boardwalk over the dunes - excellent condition. We highly recommend this house and spot on a quiet dead-end street and hope to come back ourselves next year!
