The cabin and property were absolutely amazing! I loved enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony, as well as all the hangout areas inside and outside. The hot tub was also very nice and we got a lot of use out of it!
It was a perfect location for going to benton harbor and saugatuck for little day trips. We also squeezed in a beach day and it was less than a 5 minute drive which made it easy on our baby. The layout of the house worked really well for all 5 of us plus a baby. The house was perfect for everything we needed for our stay and the local restaurants did not disappoint, specifically hot spot for breakfast on our way home.
Great cabin with woods all around! Lake access could have been more clear for easier canoeing access. Wonderful clear skies for star viewing in the hot tub. Very close to Lake Michigan as well! Overall a great experience!
We stayed in this cabin for a week and it was excellent overall for what we were looking for. It was centered between all the places we intended to visit and spend time at, and comfortable enough to spread out and relax in the evenings. Having the bunk beds for the kids was a huge hit as well! Some of the property could use a little maintenance I think and some upgrading.. Also since the cabin is pet friendly, there's always some pet hair and that gets missed between guests probably, but nothing was worth writing a negative review about. Overall we enjoyed our stay and vacation. Kelly was very quick to respond to any questions we had.
Great rustic cabin! We came for a book retreat and it was the perfect place to stay. Lots of cozy reading/hanging out spots throughout the cabin and property. Cabin was very clean and well stocked on towels and toiletries. Host was very responsive to our one minor issue with the shower. We’re already planning our trip back next year!
Great private location with easy access to main roads. Amenities were not all there. No usable grill, unable to use the lake due to heavy algae growth, and fans needed to help circulate cool air upstairs. But otherwise, great property and quick responding host.

Overall the experience was okay. The cabin itself was nice, but it was not as advertised. Lake, deck, and canoes were dirty and overcrowded with plants. There were only three true bedrooms. The bunk beds were in the basement with the game room attached. Kitchen appliances were older and utensils either broken or covered in old food residue. The game room was fun with a ping pong table and tv, but the air hockey table was missing items so we were unable to use it. A fuse was broken so no open outlets on the first floor were functional and no porch light. 7/10 experience (rated among 8 people).
Very easy process from start to finish with this rental. So many lovely perks in this home. Perfect location. Easy access to the highway as well. Outside could use a little TLC but overall a fantastic home and the hot tub was perfectly private. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay for family get together! Loved all the separate bedrooms and the fire pit area. Dining table was a perfect spot after a long day at the beach
This lovely log cabin was exactly what my friends and I were looking for - 6 of us fit comfortably and yet were quite cozy for our board game get-away weekend. We particularly enjoyed the roomy, recently re-done lower floor with a convenient bathroom and extra sleeping options. The hot tub was a real treat also! The property was easy to get too, yet felt very tucked away. Kelly was an excellent host, responding to a few of the questions we had extremely quickly and helpfully. I fully recommend this spot for anyone looking for a conveniently located Michigan Cabin getaway!

Thank you for your kind words! Can’t wait to host you again!
Was a nice get away for a long weekend with family. Would be nice if there was a larger area inside for seating with family after a long day of hiking. Overall was a great stay. Property was beautiful.
