John Ball Zoo was about a 20 min walk and Meijer Gardens was about a 10 min drive. Lots of food options within 20 min walk as well. Free parking was always available in front of the house. Small backyard with privacy fence and seating. Very happy with our stay!

This is the second time we stayed at this property. I highly recommend it. It is very clean and stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and it’s a super cozy house. Location is perfect to get downtown or GVSU. We would definitely stay a third time.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Westside Charmer! From the moment we walked in, it felt so welcoming and inviting. The chic decor made the space feel inviting, and everything was absolutely immaculate. We couldn’t wait to unpack and settle in!The host went above and beyond with all the little details. The Westside Charmer booklet was such a thoughtful touch and made it easy to know what to expect and where to go, with tons of great options within walking distance. She even thought to provide disposable travel cups for our morning coffee, which was such a simple but appreciated detail.We stayed with our three kids and loved being able to walk to the John Ball Zoo, YMCA, museums, libraries, and Bridge Street Market, all while enjoying the neighborhood along the way.On our last morning, the kids said “this feels like our real home” & NONE of us were ready to leave. We would happily stay here again!

The home is very charming with everything one needs for an enjoyable stay. We were in town for a reunion and needed to do some food prep and cooking. We were able to do this quite well. The home is very clean and decorated very nicely. There is a small backyard with patio chairs, which we were able to enjoy. The homes in the neighborhood are close together but everyone was very considerate. No late night craziness. The host is very kind and responds immediately to any questions. We felt very safe and slept like babies.
