Gary and Joanna truly did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible! Their home is comfortable and accommodating. Very helpful communication. We went up for a few days to visit Jay Peak and had several children. Hope to stay here again in the future!
Great farmhouse with plenty of space, comfy beds, and clean bathrooms with nice showers. Hosts were welcoming and check in/out was a breeze, recommendations were spot on, good restaurants a few miles away, and 20 min from Jay Peak.
House was perfect and embodied what you would want from an old farmhouse except it has been fully renovated so you get the best of both worlds. Host was very responsive. Anything you needed was in the house. Great stay…..already planning to stay again next year!
This was such an amazing property. Everything was clean to perfection and the house was warm on some of the coldest days of the year. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Hosts could not have been kinder. We will be back!
We loved every minute of our two night stay at this gorgeous, clean, and cozy farmhouse. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and every small detail was well thought out at this home. No one wanted to leave and it was well worth the 15-20 minute drive to Jay Peak. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!
This was a wonderful place to stay! The location is great - near restaurants, grocery stores, 20 min from Jay Peak - and the home was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for 7 adults and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was great, especially when we forgot about daylight savings time and needed a slightly later check out time. I would definitely stay here again.
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Gary & Joanna's beautiful remodeled farmhouse. The home is spacious, cozy, and well-decorated with interesting VT antiques. We found the location convenient for a ski weekend at Jay Peak Resort, just a 20 min drive away. Gary & Joanna were responsive and attentive hosts that went above and beyond, even welcoming us with delicious baked goods for us to enjoy!
The house was perfect for a family as the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc., and there were plenty of places for all to sit / gather. Everything was very clean and the home was beautifully decorated. A perfect cozy home for a ski vacation. Joanna and Gary were wonderful hosts and were always available to answer questions. I would definitely book this property again.
Very cozy and comfortable! Lots of ladybugs and flys inside however. People sensitive to critters as such might not like it. The beds were all very comfortable and the house is warm and had everything we needed.
We went to Vermont to ski with another family. The house is up-to-date and in great shape! The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The house is pretty convenient to Jay Peak (<20 min.) and the ride to/from takes you past covered bridges. The interior is completely renovated, and the woodwork is great. It is super clean, and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We saw deer in the backyard and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We went to Vermont to ski. The house was beautiful. Its cozy (not in a small way) but all the rooms are generous in size and perfectly appointed. The wood is gorgeous. I am particular about cleanliness so I was happy to see all the white towels perfectly arranged and the bedding spotless. The house has the organic rustic vibe, while having all the modern conveniences. The owners were very hrlpful and attentive. They provided me with a long list of restaurants and even gave me a referral to a local mechanic to address an issue I had with my car. I am definitely going to return yo Vermont to ski and hope to stay here again. I usually like ski-in, ski-out, and was afraid that I would hate the drive to slopes, but it was completely doable. It was maybe 15 minutes and very easy.
