Welcome to Charmant Retreat, Charmant means charming in German. Charming it is, the retreat was built in 1970. Charming sits on1-1/2 private acres and walking distance to downtown Helen, Bettys country store and the city park. 8 guest are welcomed to enjoy the hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, gas stoves, granite counter tops, game room with pool table, TV's through out the whole house.Master, king bedroom has a gas fireplace , sitting area and blacony. Charming is a retreat you will never forget.

Great Location!

We loved this cabin and it's location. It's extremely close to downtown Helen and centrally located to the surrounding parks/waterfalls. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed the firepit and hot tub after a day of hiking! I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Helen!

We have visited Helen several times and this was my favorite place to stay! The location is perfect, close to everything, there is lots to do in the house and it is very peaceful and quiet. Host is very nice and responsive. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Cute place with history

The ideal location to where you feel mountainous secluded but still so close to town that you could walk if you wanted. I love the detailed history posted for guests to see. My family really enjoyed the hot tub and pool table!

Wonderful family weekend

The house was a short walk to all of the downtown Helen restaurants and shops. We enjoyed all the amenities of the home, outdoor spaces provided lots of entertainment with hot tub, fire pit and porch swing. In the home we enjoyed the pool table, connect four, scrabble, tic tac toe, checkers and the fire place. Snacks and bathroom amenities provided by the owner were a plus. We look forward to a return stay!

Charmant retreat Helen, GA

Super cute and comfy property. It was just my husband and our youngest daughter but there was plenty of room for more. The pictures were very accurate of the cabin. It was tastefully decorated and had wonderful views of Main Street Helen. You could see all the Christmas lights from the living room window. The hot tub was a nice bonus. We didn't have time to try out the firepit. Overall, very nice stay and we would book again.

Alpine Helen Heaven

We were in town celebrating a wedding and the location to Helen couldn’t have been better. It was an easy five minute walk to downtown. Even though it was close to downtown, you still felt like you were secluded. They have plenty of places to sit outside and we loved sitting by the fire pit. Only thing I would suggest is they clean off all the outside furniture before guests arrive as they were all fairly dirty. Other than that it was a great stay!
