Villa "Marbella", or "beautiful sea" is truly magical with its gorgeous views of the ocean on one side of the villa and mountains cascading the other. Enjoy your coffee or book in many different zones including pool-side or under the pergola - even the palapa on the balcony which lends itself to both ocean and mountain views. You will often hear the sounds of the howler monkeys accompanied with various jungle sounds. Also, if you are an avid bird watcher, you will be able to add new birds to your life list just by sitting in the chairs in the many zones of the property. Recently, the native red macaw has been reintroduced and love the almond trees on the property. If you want to enjoy local culture, visit the nearby Islita Art Museum and community. You will also find that many nearby beaches and mountain roads provide excursion opportunities including turtle and wildlife sitings.

This property captures the spirit of what life is all about. Whether it's "de-stressing" or reconnecting with your family and friends, you can enjoy privacy at the villa or the many amenities at a world-class spa resort. You can finally finish that good book while tracking the tide changes or teach your children how to fish, golf or even get mom to brave that zip line. Unwind in Paradise

This was our second trip to Punta Islita, and we will definitely be back again. Marbella is a beautiful villa and was perfect for our family of 6 adults. We enjoyed all the activities at the resort and especially loved relaxing in our very private paradise Marbella. This place is truly magical, from the view to the wild life and the gorgeous plant life you are surrounded by beauty. The pictures do not do this place justice. We love this resort, the staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to make you feel special. Thank you Nancy for all your help with the booking you made our trip perfect.

Honeymoon getaway

We spent our honeymoon at Marbella. It was without a doubt the best way to start our marriage. The property is gorgeous, with amazing views and plenty of space. The villa could fit six easily but was so fun for the two of us. There is everything your could need inside, I would recommend bringing some basics in your suitcase for food and getting some things locally if you like to cook. The restaurants are incredible. The food is very good and there are a lot of options as well as a local restaurant, Kambute was a great find. There are many options of things to do and of course there is plenty of time to relax. Zip-lining was so much fun and the spa is incredible. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. If we had certain requests, they did everything in their power to make it happen. Overall, it was a wonderful trip with beautiful scenery, incredible nature, and such a relaxing environment.

First Class Relaxation

We spent our honeymoon here. To use an overused term, it was beyond "amazing." We woke up every morning to a virtual symphony of natures noises. Birds, cows, horses, monkey and roosters were among the contributors. The house was immaculate. The restaurants were very good and the service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would definately return to this house and would highly recommend it to anyone. The pictures of this house don't do it justice.
