About the host
Hosted by Susan Miller
My husband and I built this house in 1980. We went on to have three children and spent summer and winter weekends there. This neighborhood is very special, close to hikes, skiing and we would spend untold hours at our community pond with the kids. We have outgrown our little house but our children and our 7 grandchildren come up together in winter to ski and in the summer to be together to give their kids the same wonder experiences they had. Yes, Lake Tahoe has its beauty, but there is nothing more splendorous than sitting on the grass by the water in Bear Creek watching the Aspen dance and the beautiful mountain above.
