About the host
Your host

I'm Diane and was born and raised in Seattle. Charlie is from the midwest, but settled here for decades. We are skiers in winter, and travel often in summer. We bought our house here and never moved, too delightful. Our last upgrade was this added cozy cabin.
Why they chose this property
On the north boundary of Seattle is Lake Forest Park (LFP), its other boarder is Lake Washington with easy access. The tree canopy is a feature of LFP, with many parks and walkable access to shopping and dining as well. A good home base to enjoy Seattle and more.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is new, with heated floors, comfy bed, great sound system, or movie central. It's quiet. It's private. A stream ripples off the front deck. On occasion coyotes can be heard. The owls will watch you. The woodpeckers are active. The deer migrate through in spring and fall. And over the hill is a busy 522 that takes you to Seattle.
