Wonderful stay at adorable beach house
This is an absolute gem in the best location. I stayed here with family including 5 adults and 1 toddler. The owner was so thoughtful and very responsive - for example, I asked about beach chairs and found new ones waiting for us on check-in. The house is completely charming and felt the perfect amount of space for a party our size. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, with an especially nice master bedroom/bath and a fun lofted space (converted attic?) with an office area, twin bed, and view of the sound. The kitchen is fairy well equipped for cooking basic meals (though besides salt/pepper there are no basic pantry items so bring your own), and we ate every meal on their spacious patio with a view of the water. There is space for parking at least 4 cars on the property.
The space would be improved by updates to the backyard including a grill, and fixing the outdoor shower which was not working during our stay. There is no town beach pass available for guests, however it was easy to purchase one at the surf club (they gave the town resident rate of $10/day when I showed the VRBO confirmation).
I mention the above for the information of future guests but truly did not inconvenience us in the slightest and we would return here in a heartbeat, and indeed hope this will become a new annual tradition for my family. Definitely recommend to others!! Thank you to the hosts!!
