Home 4 U at Olive Bayou! Downtown Lake Charles

As of mid-November we’ll have decorated a Christmas tree for your holiday visit! Access to Lake Charles Lakefront Promenade and Mardi Gras Museum of Imperial Calcasieu are a short walk from this unit: Olive Bayou. Take the kids to Millennium Park for Pirate exploring before walking downtown to enjoy year-round fine dining and entertainment. Enjoy the daily wildlife right outside the back door in the open green space. This quaint unit is sure to be a place you visit more than once.

Great experience

I had a fantastic experience staying at Home 4 U at Olive Bayou. From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive and made sure all of my questions were answered promptly.The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and in a great location. It’s clear they really care about their guests. I had forgotten something and luckily it was found and the host worked with me to retrieve it. They are honest and were more than happy to help me. Highly recommend this host and their property to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable stay!

Had everything needed for a stay

Great home. It has everything in stock you would need. We only stayed 1 night. But it was nice & relaxing. Clean, cold ac, extra things needed in bathrooms & kitchen. Easy to access , quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space for adults and kids.

This was a great property! The home is very comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood. My friends and I were torn between a hotel or house since we were only staying one night, but this house was clean, spacious and worth it!

Comfort and relaxation

So so beautiful and relaxing The house is so beautiful, and so clean. My husband and I felt so comfortable in this home, as of a matter of fact it felt like a home. for me that is a compliment. The neighborhood is so quaint and quiet. The blooming honeysuckle made for a wonderful evening on the front porch. A quick walk down the street to the little Mexican restaurant made this the perfect place in our opinion. Since our grandchildren live so close my husband and I decided this is the only place we would stay. Jamie was so responsive to all my questions.Ten out of Ten……

Volleyball tournament

Property was very cute. Had everything we needed. Only negatives was there is one thermostat that controls both upstairs & downstairs and very hard to regulate. Upstairs stayed hot and downstairs freezing. Guest bedrooms have very hard mattresses & pillows. But overall we had a good stay! Enjoyed the Mexican restaurant right around the corner…street tacos & margarita was awesome! Would stay here again!

This property felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean and lovingly prepared. The check in process was extremely easy and the communication was amazing. This will definitely be where we stay in our future overnight visits to Lake Charles.

Perfect condo in Lake Charles close to nice park and lake front.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, clean and comfy condo. It was well equipped with all we needed for a family weekend away. We will definately rent again. ( close to park, fishing, restaurants, casinos. )

Accommodating, Quiet, and Cozy!

A very nice spot in a great area. I wish I could have stayed an additional night to explore the dining spots within walking distance. We were here for a conference at a nearby casino. 3 Bedrooms and 2-1/2 Baths were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was large and opened up into the comfortable living room. I hope to stay here again soon to explore the area less business trip more leisure.

Wedding

Perfect location. Right down the road from wedding venue, Charleston Hotel. Groom & groomsmen hung out & got ready for the wedding Saturday night. After the wedding the happy couple spent the night.
