Home 4 U at Olive Bayou! Downtown Lake Charles

As of mid-November we’ll have decorated a Christmas tree for your holiday visit! Access to Lake Charles Lakefront Promenade and Mardi Gras Museum of Imperial Calcasieu are a short walk from this unit: Olive Bayou. Take the kids to Millennium Park for Pirate exploring before walking downtown to enjoy year-round fine dining and entertainment. Enjoy the daily wildlife right outside the back door in the open green space. This quaint unit is sure to be a place you visit more than once.

Home away home

This property felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean and lovingly prepared. The check in process was extremely easy and the communication was amazing. This will definitely be where we stay in our future overnight visits to Lake Charles.

Cozy stay and fantastic location!

The decor, furniture and location were awesome. Close to the lake, great restaurants and I-10 - we were very comfortable and it was great to have 3 rooms both our kids got their own room and privacy. We were very comfortable and the home was well stocked with everything we needed - so helpful!

Beautiful home

It is a beautiful home - just like the pictures portray in a cute neighborhood in a convienent location. There were a few hiccups but the host was great to work with resolving the issues. Would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

We had a fantastic holiday get away in a safe, clean, comfortable and well organized/maintained environment!! The addition of the Christmas tree made us feel at home!! Perfect location for a weekend or extended get away.

This home is the perfect location for a weekend or exteded get away and within walking distance to some restaurants and shops. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities for our group of six. The neighborhood felt safe and within a short walking distance to Millennuim Park, which is nicely ligthted for an evening stroll. We even met some of the neighbors who were super friendly. We will definitely book this home once again when we return to Lake Charles.

Relieving, and relaxing experience!

We couldn’t have been more relieved (via my brother-in-law’s searching efforts) to find Olive Bayou! Selecting Lake Charles as a last minute add-on to our vacation was topped off perfectly with this beautiful and comfortable vrbo choice! After frustrations of not finding a hotel room, and not knowing a location and area to settle on, our weekend stay was a Huge positive with this choice! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing Olive Bayou!

Amazing!! Perfectly stocked house

I usually look for places with kitchens to cook some meals when away from home. Most of the time, I am disappointed with not having enough pans, silverware, etc. The host thought of everything! My son asked if I packed qtips, and sadly I did not. Then we found them in the bathroom! Every host should stock the house the way this host does! The house was clean, a nice quiet area downtown. It was just a wonderful time.
