This place was perfect, very comfortable and well equipped. It was was a hidden gem, quiet and beautiful. Fishing on the river side was a surprise bonus, stripped bass and catfish. We will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time. We brought our boat and was able to park it at the pier on the river. The home was beautiful and very well supplied with all our needs. The beds were very comfortable. We had one issue and maintenance was out within an hour to check out the situation. We are already planning our return trip! Thank you so much!

Family wedding trip

Great weekend away! After a small miscommunication with the property manager, the owner gave us a special “sorry about the confusion” gift and left us his personal phone number for any other problems/concerns-which we did not have. Would certainly go back!

This house is run by a management company, Kay Property Management. They are charging me a 200 fee for unplugging an interior camera device which was not labeled or a violation in the rental agreement. When questioned about the contract, Kay Property Management amended the house details on VRBO to mention a 200 fine, completely after the fact. On another note, the ground floor under the house looks like a junkyard. Owners crap everywhere. Old junk was everywhere. There is a ground level bathroom that is inoperable and disgusting. Finally, when we showed up, the mosquitos were so bad that no one could go outside. I paid 100 out of pocket to have the yard sprayed just so we could walk outside to our cars. Definitely would not recommend this rental. Much better places to stay in Lake Charles.
