We found Along for the Ride to be an amazing home, spacious and comfortable. The entirely fenced yard was great for the kids and dog. We enjoyed the hot tub and various outdoor seating areas. The hammock swing was fun and cozy.

Pros: The main house was spacious and comfortably fit 8 adults and 3 kids, with plenty of seating in the kitchen and living room. There was an entire closet filled with puzzles and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking tools. The outdoor area was great, with a fire pit for s’mores, a new grill, a hot tub with color-changing lights, and a wrap around patio with plenty of outdoor seating. The kids loved the swinging hammock. The location was super convenient! It was within close walking distance of the market, shops, indoor pool, and the beach.Cons: The door code wasn’t working upon arrival. We drove to the rental office to let them know but it still left us waiting outside for an hour while waiting for maintenance to arrive. They gave us a late checkout to make up for it. Most mattresses in the house were uncomfortable old spring mattresses, except for the king suite. The jetted tub was disappointing - the jets all had very visible mold in them. The kids found nicotine gum in the living room from a previous guest. The 2 bbq lighters in the kitchen were empty. Outdoor maintenance is needed. The walking path was un-raked with slippery leaves, slugs, and the solar lights along the walking path and carriage house staircase did not work. The carriage house was a nice concept but had dirty floors, stained linens, bugs and flies. There was also visible mold in the shower.Overall it was a good stay, just needs a little upkeep to make it better!

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the spacious home, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor amenities, and convenient location. We’re very sorry for the delayed check-in and the cleanliness and maintenance issues you encountered, particularly with the carriage house, jetted tub, and outdoor areas. We also apologize for the items left behind by a previous guest and the discomfort caused by the mattresses. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention and will share your feedback with our team for review. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy your stay and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an improved experience!

Magical stay, incredible home!

We had a dreamy stay in Along for the Ride. The home is beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for cooking, resting, and playing for all ages. Seabrook Hospitality was incredible when it came to helping us with any needs. We loved the home's location on the Elk Promenade and close to the gnome trail and close to town. The only thing that we had to work around a bit was the lack of lamps in some rooms. The Carriage House and the Media Room had no lamps at all for nighttime reading, so we had to borrow some from other rooms. But other than that, it was perfect. We were all so sad to leave and can't wait to come back. Thank you!
