Surf n Seahorse is perfectly appointed, washed in soothing coastal tones and filled with all the comforts of home. High-end custom touches like arched openings, built-in entertainment center and granite countertops make this beautiful home special without being fussy. Outside you will find a passenger lift, meant for people and luggage, which will make the load in easy on everyone. This home also boasts an enormous deck, lots of deck chairs, chaise loungers and dining table for outdoor meals while overlooking the canal. On the ground level you will find and outdoor bar, Shell/Fish cleaning station, outdoor shower, fire pit, additional dining table and outdoor swings that give you a great view of the canal. Also included is a game room with ping pong table, Tv, and outdoor games.


Inside this beautiful home you will find plenty of comfortable seating in the living area for those who want to watch a movie or curl up with a good book after a long day at the beach, large dining table, and bar stools around the kitchen island to keep the cook's company while they prepare the catch-of-the-day. Each restful bedroom has its own TV, so when it's time to turn in and catch the late show there'll be no fighting over who gets to watch their favorite show. Enjoy breakfast at the table on the deck while you plan your day of fun in the sun and reconvene for a rousing game of dominoes in the evening. Outdoors you will find an enormous deck and lots of deck chairs, chaise loungers and dining table for outdoor meals while overlooking the canal (check back soon for complete details). Awesome Beach Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 13th year of our ladies group to have a beach vacation. This is our favorite house! We want to stay there next year, too. It was very nice, clean and comfy. Plenty of comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked. The lift was great to get all of our gear upstairs. It was so peaceful, being next to the canal, watching the sun rise and set and all the wildlife nearby. The living room and dining area were large and spacious, plenty of room for our group to enjoy dinner, playing games and watching TV. The beach access was perfect, too. We were also close to The Big Store and restaurants and JB's for fresh shrimp. Thank you Surf and Seahorse for a wonderful vacation. Hope to see you again, next year>

The management was super helpful, we didn’t need them except for a question about the lift and it was a breeze. We will definitely be renting this house again!! The game room downstairs was a great bonus. The furniture was super comfortable and plenty of room for all 9 of us to hang out and watch tv or play games. The bar area downstairs was perfect for karaoke.

However we do believe that this is the greatest one we have stayed in. Loved the layout and the location. It was very clean and had everything that we needed for a great vacation. October Break

Home was convenient for unloading supplies with the lift. It was a perfect short stroll to the beach. We cooked meals, had plenty of kitchen utensils, and refrigerator worked great. We were a little surprised to have two rolls of toilet paper with4 bathrooms. Also, surprised to have to make our own beds up with sheets when we arrived. Those were little annoyances and our stay was pretty great otherwise!

The cabin was very well-appointed and very nicely decorated. The owners of this cabin have ensured you have a great time even if the weather doesn’t cooperate (puzzles, games, dvds, and a bar area on the ground floor, etc).It was a quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach, and The Big Store and fishing were just a few minutes away (we launched at Stingarees Marina). We loved having the elevator for our family member who is in a wheelchair. The only improvement I would make is widening at least one bathroom door to accommodate the width of a wheelchair. We were able to make it work and had a great time though! Thanks!

All 10 of us loved our stay. The property was beautiful, spotless, and well equipped. We spent hours on lower deck with our dog able to roam in fenced yard. Believe it or not, but we did not have many mosquitos though I would bring spray anyways. The lift did not work when we arrived, but immediately Cobb Realty arrived and then sent a maintenance man. Within two days, the lift company from Texas City arrived & fixed it and this was on a holiday week. The downstairs outdoor shower and bathroom were an extra perk.The games that were available to the kids were numerous. We all played darts, connect 4 and other games. If you have small ones, you do not need to bring any beach toys as there is an ample supply. The living room was plenty big enough to seat all 10 of us to play games and talk. The dining table & island had plenty of seating. The kitchen had plenty of dishes. The only snag we had was no griddle for pancakes so we had to cook one at a time.The decor was charming. Everything looked fresh. I would definitely stay here again though probably not at July 4 if you have a dog. The fireworks were continuous through the week in the neighborhood. At one point, my dog got loose and ran away for 15 hours until I finally located him - a low point of our stay. The neighborhoods helped me locate Cash a mile away. We did not use a golf cart but got a tag on the car to park and drive on the beach for those less able to walk the short distance.

Wonderful relaxing vacation!!!
