2nd time renting. 5 bedrooms allowed each family had a room. Great location. Would like to have better WiFi and upgrade main TV. Downstairs table needs work. Overall pleased

We absolutely loved our stay. The house had plenty of room for our family, and it was a close walk to the beach with an amazing view from the balcony.

I will start by listing the positives. Upon arriving, the yard was beautiful and you do get a great view of the ocean from the deck, but no beach access. The house is decently spacious and the kitchen was stocked really well. There is an outdoor shower that we really enjoy after a day at the beach and there are two porch swings on the property.The listing does not mention that one of the five bedrooms with two full size beds is separated from the rest of the house. It is located downstairs in a shed area. The room has a musty smell and is not nearly as “cute” and comfortable as the rooms attached in the house.There were a significant amount of German roaches in the house. This made cooking, brushing our teeth, showering, etc. a bit of a nightmare. I would thoroughly wash any of the provided pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. before using them. The dishwasher had several live roaches inside of it as well.The house was not cleaned properly before we arrived and I even took a photo of the toilet, which had a smear of feces across the lid. Instead of being able to enjoy the brief amount of time we had at the beach, we were being asked by the property managers to send photos and give updates on the insects. They sent pest control out, but it definitely did not resolve the issue while we were there. We have stayed at a lot of very nice properties at Crystal Beach for less than we spent on this and we will be avoiding this company in the future.

When you reported the pest concerns, we responded promptly by arranging for a licensed pest control company to visit the property during your stay. While we understand that this did not fully resolve the issue before your departure, we appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to address it. Due to the coastal environment, insects can occasionally make their way indoors despite routine preventative pest treatments, particularly during periods of heat and humidity. We also appreciate you bringing the cleanliness concerns to our attention. Your feedback was shared with our housekeeping team so they could address the items immediately and help prevent similar issues for future guests. Regarding the downstairs bedroom, the listing and photos show that it is located separately from the main house. We understand this layout may not be ideal for every group, and we encourage guests to review the listing details to ensure the property is the right fit for their needs.
