Nice, pet-friendly place

This home is very pet friendly and the fenced back yard was perfect. We could walk to the beach every morning and then go about our day. We had a terrific week!

Short walk to the beach

Cute property with a short walk to the beach. The location was central to everything we wanted to do on the island. I selected this property due to the fenced backyard for our dog. It was a great place for our family to stay for the week. The bedrooms looked newer than the rest of the house and were very comfortable. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Bathroom, fixtures, rusted, Refrigerator push buttons, broken, filthy blinds, and filthy floors, Furniture needs cleaning. HVAC vents were dirty. PK was responsive when we called about floor needing cleaning. They sent two cleaners out within the hour. Great response.

The Cozy Gritz Carlton

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gritz Carlton unit A. We stayed with friends who rented unit B, which was a great arrangement. The unit is exactly 0.2 miles from the King Road beach access; however, if you have a bike, I highly recommend the short peddle over to Brice Lane which has less steps. The unit was clean and well worth the value of the rental. We really loved the front patio and used it as our gathering place each morning and evening. The only small issue was that the AC was not as strong upstairs as it was downstairs, so we had to blast the AC at night to accommodate. But in the end all that meant was it was a little more cold downstairs when we got up each morning. I look forward to staying in this unit next time we visit Jekyll.

We loved having a pet friendly accommodation with a fenced back yard- my little dog tests fences so we had to watch him, but the others were good. We really appreciated the short walk from the home to the beach- just look at the tide charts- when tide is high, the water comes up to the boardwalk steps, so you need to plan when you’re going to have beach time during low tide. We did a lot of cooking because we have some dietary restrictions, but there were plenty of pots, pans and utensils and plates, could use a few more bowls, but had enough we could make do. It was very nice to have the stackable laundry in unit too- we were able to keep everything more neat since we could wash. The bedroom setup was perfect for us too- the three kids used the room with queen and twin bed while my husband and I had the master. Everything was clean and in working order- would definitely return!! Thanks!!
